This card is a version from the "cover" of the Online Exclusives "page". It was nice to use a different color this time! I, once again, used a Blending Brush to add a little color to the "leaves" on the "flower" as well ass some additional "leaves" I die cut to add to the card.
Measurements:
- Lost Lagoon: 1/2 sheet, scrap
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 1/4 sheet (die cuts)
- Old Olive: scraps
- A Little Latte DSP (N) (OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (Lost Lagoon stripe), 1/2" x 5 1/4" strip
To Make This Card:
- Attach DSP to folded Lost Lagoon card.
- Heat emboss sentiment in White onto scrap of Lost Lagoon. Die cut with banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Straight cut the left end. Attach to card front.
- Die cut larger, detailed "magnolia" from White cardstock. Also die cut one each of the double/triple "leaves" and 2 single "leaves" from Old Olive scraps.
- Use small Blending Brush and Old Olive ink to add green to the "leaves" on the "flower" and add a little color to the extra leaves.
- Add "magnolia", flush to card front. Tuck in additional Old Olive "leaves" if desired.
- Finish inside, as usual, and add scattered Iridescent Rhinestones to front.
