Snowman Magic Flocked Background

I always ask my Club Hostesses what bundle they would like me to work with when they are hostess.  My hostess this month asked for inspiration using the Snowman Magic Bundle.  Mom and I had a lot of fun yesterday "getting to know" this bundle! This is one of the cards that we will be doing Saturday.  It uses the bundle, including that darling bunny, our new Snowflake Vellum - for the background, and, our gorgeous new Iridescent Pearls on the snowflakes on the frame!  The dies and stamps together make this card a breeze!

Measurements:

  • Balmy Blue: 1/2 sheet, scrap
  • Basic White: 3 pcs 4" X 5 1/4", scraps
  • Snowflake Vellum: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
  • Mint Macaron: scrap
  • Basic Black: scrap
To Make This Card:

  • Center and cut "frame" from front of one White piece.
  • Attach Flocked Vellum to wrong side of opening., and then attach this piece to another White Layer.
  • Attach to folded Balmy Blue card.
  • Stamp "snowman" and "bunny" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of white.  Cut out with corresponding dies.
  • Stamp "face" of your choice and "buttons" onto the "snowman".  Color in his nose with Pumpkin Pie Blend. Color "bunny" ear and cheeks with Lt Pink Skin color.  If desired, puff up "bunny" tail with Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. (be sure to shake well, first!)
  • Stamp "stocking hat" in Balmy Blue onto scrap of Balmy Blue Cardstock.  Cut out with corresponding die.
  • Cut out 2 "arms" of your choice from Black Cardstock.  Note: these are really neat, because they "built in" a spot for the Mini Glue Dot to attach to the back of the "snowman"!
  • Attach "hat" and "arms" to "snowman" and attach to card front under snowflakes.
  • Cut 2 "trees" from Mint Macaron.  Tuck one under the snowflakes.
  • Add "bunny where desired.
  • Stamp sentiment of your choice in Balmy Blue.  Cut into narrow rectangle, and attach to card.
  • Finish with new, Iridscent Pearls, where desired, on snowflakes.
