Old Olive Corner Bouquet

I haven't played with this classy SAB set - Corner Bouquet - yet.This sample was actually created by one of my recruits, Susie Wood.  She has an awesome clean and simple style and loves to create with interesting cuts and folds. I love it!


Measurements:  

  • Old Olive: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
  • Pear Pizzazz: 3 1/4" x 4"
  • Basic White: 3" x 3 3/4" (stamped front), 4" x 4" (inside)
  • Paper Blooms SAB (N): 1" x 4" (leaves), 4" x 4" (stripes)
  • Soft Seafoam: scrap
To Make This Card

  • Fold Old Olive card in half.  Trim off 1 1/4" from front.  Attach 1" DSP to lower edge, and White square to the inside. And, attach 4" square of DSP to the front.
  • Attach Pear Pizzazz to Old Olive Layer.
  • Stamp larger corner image in Old Olive in corner of Basic White piece.  Add sentiment from Touch of Ink stamp set (most of this card is free items from SAB!) in upper right. Attach to layering piece.  Add to card as shown.  About 1/2" will extend below the cut edge.
  • Stamp "dragonfly" in Old Olive ink onto scrap of Soft Seafoam.  Punch out. Shape the wings a little and attach to card with Mini Glue Dots.  Embellish with 3 pearls (3 different sizes).
  • Finish with a knot of white ribbon.
