Jar of Cookies

I found this fun card using 2 of my favorite, new stamp sets - Nothing Better Than and Jar of Flowers (I love this mini jar!) The card uses 4 "chocolate chip cookies" which I discovered are best stamped using the Stamparatus! Love the colors, love the layout, love the card!!  Give it a try!


Measurements:  

  • Real Red: 1/2 sheet, scrap
  • Basic Black: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Whisper White: 1 ¾” x 2 ½”, 1 5/8” x 2 3/8”, 2” x 8 ½” (cookies), ½” x 3”
  • Window Sheet: 1 5/8" x 2 3/8"
  • In Good Taste DSP (N): 3 3/4" x 5"

To Make This Card:  

  • Fold Reat Red card.  Attach Basic Black layer.
  • Trim DSP piece at 1 3/4", which leaves 3 1/4" for the "wall" and flipped over 1 3/4" for the "table". Attach to card front.
  • Cut out "designer frame" in Whisper White. Stamp "message" in Black on top.  Die cut words from Real Red, and attach under words. Add to upper left of card.
  • Stamp "jar" in Memento Black, onto scrap of white. Punch out with Jar Punch.   Also, punch out a "jar" from the Window Sheet.  Set both aside.
  • Using the Stamparatus and "hinge" method, first stamp 4 "cookies" in Cinnamon Cider.  Then, go back and stamp 4 "chocolate chips" in Memento Black. Cut out with corresponding die.
  • Arrange "cookies" on top of jar, starting near the "mouth" of the jar, and working your way down, making sure to cover up the "bite"! Trim any "cookie" parts that lay beyond the jar.
  • Attach the Window Sheet to the "mouth" of the jar.  Add ribbon and a knot.  Attach to card with Dimensionals.
  • Use Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to make label. Attach to card.
  • Finish with 5 Red Rhinestones
