Happy 2021!!

Saw this cute card and added my own twist.  Unfortunately, I discovered I didn't have the stamp to go along with the rest of the theme, so I just wrote it myself!

Measurements:  

• Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet
• Artistry Blooms DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White: 3 1/8" x 4 5/8", scraps
• Rainbow Glimmer Paper: scraps              

To Make this Card.

• Attach DSP to folded Bermuda Bay card.
• Cut "squiggle" rectangle from the Nature's Thoughts Dies in Whisper White.
• Stamp "Cocktail" in Memento Black, Add details with corresponding inks.  Attach to small piece of Foam Adhesive and cut out with corresponding die.
• Cut "cocktails" and the numbers 2021 from Navy to Granny Apple Green areas of the Glimmer paper.  Attach to white layer with Multipurpose Glue.
• Add stamped "cocktail".  If you have the stamp set So Sentimental, color the "This Calls For" sentiment from the Confetti stamp! Otherwise, write in corresponding color ink!
• Attach white piece to card.
• Finish with a few coordinating Rhinestones.

Kick 2020 Slimline

This is my version of a card I've seen using our new SAB set Darling Donkeys!  Love this cheery paper from the Artistry Blooms DSP, paired with our retired numbers dies. It is so timely given the kind of year we've all endured!!  Here's to 2021!!

Sweet Strawberry

There are all kinds of gorgeous floral bundles in the new catalog, but I really liked this "fruity" option - Sweet Strawberry. It's something a little different! There is also a "fruity" option - with this gorgeous DSP - in the SAB offerings.

This sample also uses the Stitched Layered Dies, Subtles EF, new Double Oval and Strawberry Builder Punches, and Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Blends.

New - Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle

So, I've pretty much set the Holidays side, and have started playing with some of the new in the new January - June Mini Catalog! This is a GORGEOUS Bundle called - Friends Are Like Seashells.  It has a large stamp set with some awesome sentiments, a neat die, and gorgeous Embossing Folder that coordinates beautifully with the largest die.  Then, there are some neat DSP and Pearlized paper and embellishments!  Here is my creation, inspired by Amy Koenders.

Darling Donkey Fun Cut

How about another Sale-a-Bration teaser!!  I love this adorable Donkey set!  This sitting Donkey, reminds me of my beloved character, Eeyore!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 1/2 sheet
• Flower & Field DSP (N) FREE: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/4" x 4 1/8"

To Make This Card 

• Attach DSP quarter to folded Basic Black card. Cut Stitched Nested Label from front of card. Set aside. Attach Whisper White quarter to inside.
• Cut smaller Stitched Nested Label from Whisper White piece. Stamp "donkey" in Memento Black, and color with Blends as shown. 
• Stamp sentiment above "donkey" as shown.
• Attach this Whisper White layer to previously cut DSP layer.  Adhere to inside of card through opening in front. 
• Finish with bow made from Daffodil Ruched Ribbon.

Fun Fold Friday - Pull Tab Flip

Merry Christmas to you all! Today's Fun Fold is one I haven't done in a while, but is always a class favorite!  I have pulled a couple of samples from last season done with items that are still available.

Measurements:  

• Base Color: 1/2 sheet, 2" x 6" (pull), large stitched square, medium stitched square
• Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5", medium stitched square, small stitched square (inside message)   
• DSP: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"                      

To Make This Card:

• Attach White piece to folded card.
• Score "Pull" at 2” and 2 ½”.  Crease with Bone Folder. Punch Tag Punch along longer end.
• Center Classic Label punch along long side of DSP, push in all the way.  Punch.
•  Stamp “message” onto small white stitched square. Attach to medium colored square.
• Crease along first score line.  Line up cut edge of message pieces to this score line.
• Create design on medium white piece.  Attach to large colored square. Place Tear Tape along ½” area between score lines.  Attach this larger square to tear tape, lining cut edge to scored line.
• Now, insert Pull Tab through punched slit. Place Tear Tape on underside of message squares. Remove backing.  Center larger squares in center of card, and attach Tear Tape.
• Pop up DSP with “mechanism” using Dimensionals.  Keep Dimensionals away from sliding piece. Attach to card.
•  Attach ribbon to punched Tag Topper opening.

And these were probably my FAVORITE, made with Back on Your Feet.  I couldn't find mine, so these are samples from Tami White...  Love the retired Gingham!

Throwback Thursday - Snow Globe Scenes Dies

This is still one of my favorite Bundles, as I LOVE snow globes! The Snow Globe Scenes is still available in the Annual Catalog, however, sadly, the Brightly Gleaming DSP is gone - but you might still have it in your stash, as we've had it the past 2 Holiday seasons!

Monochromatic Fireside Trimmings

There is always one stamp set in every catalog that I get "just for me" because I like it! Frequently, I don't get around to using it, but this time, I was determined that I would, especially since it's being retired! I LOVE all the details in this bundle - Fireside Trimmings! I saw a version of this monochromatic card, and just had to try it.  I stamped and cut all kinds of pieces, and this is what I came up with.  So much fun to play with, so many occasions.  Check it out before it's gone!   

Oh, and did I mention I cut out all those little pieces sitting AT my workspace using my MINI STAMP n CUT DIE CUTTING MACHINE!!  You are going to have to have one!!!

Measurements:  

• Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 4" x 5 1/4", 3 1/4" square (Fireplace), scraps
• Bumblebee: 3 5/8" x 5 1/2"
• Plaid TidingsDSP (N): 3 1/8" x 5 1/2
• In Good Taste DSP: 1 3/8" x 3 1/8"
• Crumb Cake: scrap
• Silver Foil: scrap                                        

To Make This Card:

• Attach Bumblebee strip to folded Vanilla Card.  Add Plaid and then "wood" to bottom.
• Stamp "fireplace" in Early Espresso onto square of Very Vanilla.  Cut out with corresponding die and attach to card above "wood".
• Stamp various pieces in Early Espresso onto scraps of Very Vanilla.  Color, as desired, with Bumblebee ink and a Blender Pen. Cut out with corresponding dies.  Arrange on "fireplace" as desired.
• Cut "mirror" from Silver Foil and "mirror frame" from Crumb Cake.  Aseemble together and add over "fireplace".
• Stamp sentiment in Bumblebee onto scrap of Very Vanilla.  Cut out and attach to card with Dimensionals.
