DSP Fun Fold from Grand Rapids Event

Oh, my! I'm back from a fabulous Stampin' Up! event in Grand Rapids, MI (all their events are fabulous)! Of course, in addition to all the inspiring info, we also got to stamp!! :) For the first time, SU! hosted a shoebox swap, where we take our own idea, and supplies for others to make, while we make theirs. So much fun. We only had time for 5, but we swapped for others. One of those cards was this one!! So fun, and so easy to do! It is just a 5 1/2" x 12" piece of DSP, with a few easy creases, and voila! The top one is the color combo I had from the Moonlit Flora DSP, and the second set was her sample using a different sheet from the same DSP! Totally different look! Give it a try! Sadly, I don't know who to give credit to for this one!

Measurements:

Moonlit Flora DSP: 5 1/2" x 12", 1" x 3 1/2" (inside)
Golden Glow (N): 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (label)
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (label)

To Make this Card:

Score DSP base @ 2" - 4" - 8" - 10" (or 2" & 4" from ea side)
Start by creasing along score lines creating a "gate" fold".
Then, take each corner and fold it back until the top (or bottom) edge. is even with the crease, creating a triangle. When all corners are completed, you should have a "belly band" of the reverse side showing!
Next, place the White piece inside, along with a strip of DSP.
For the outside label, cut one larger label from the inside, contrasting color, and the next, smaller size from White. I used the dies from the Sweet Words and Labels Dies. (OE)
Stamp sentiment in the reverse color ink, on the White label, and then layer to 2 labels together!
Add the left half of the label to the left side of the "gate" fold.
Finish with scattered 2026 InColor Dots.
