Wild Cats meet Layering Diorama Dies

This fun card was designed by my fellow stampin' friend and demonstrator, Carmen Miyoshi! It uses the Wild Cats Bundle, Layering Diorama Dies, and In the Wild DSP (on sale now!) I love the cats, the colors, and the depth to this card!  Glad to have a sample of this in my collection!  Thanks, Carmen!

Measurements:   

• Crumb Cake: 1/2 sheet
• Evening Evergreen (N): 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
• Soft Succulent (N): 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
• In the Wild DSP (N): 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• Basic White: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Attach DSP to center of folded Crumb Cake base.
• Cut large "diorama" from Evening Evergreen.  Select a smaller size to cut from Soft Succulent.  Run both pieces, individually, through the new Animal Print EF.
• Attach Soft Succulent layer directly over DSP.
• Attach Evening Evergreen layer to Soft Succulent with Dimensionals.
• Stamp both "cats" in Crushed Curry onto scrap of white.  Add "stripes" to these in Cajun Craze.  Cut out with coordinating dies.  Arrange onto card as shown, with the "sitting cat" popped up with Dimensionals.
• Finish with sentinment stamped in Cajun Craze and cut out with a Stitched Rectangle.

Artistic Floral Cut Out

I received this lovely card in a recent swap with local demonstrators.  It utilizes the Artistic Dies along with the gorgeous Expressions in Ink DSP. A simple, but awesome card design!

Measurements:   

• Pale Papaya: 1/2 sheet
• Expressions in Ink DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (opposide side of gold stripe), 1 1/2" x 3"

To Make This Card:

• Cut "floral die" from front of DSP piece.  Clean out the cut out, and set aside.
• Attach the DSP piece with the opening to the folded Pale Papaya card. Note: I would suggest Multipurpose Glue, a silicone sheet, and a piece of sponge for this! Add the DSP cut out back into the center opening.
• Stamp sentiment in black onto strip of muted DSP.  Cut out with Tasteful Label.
• Edge label with Gold Leafing. And, then attach to card with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Pale Papaya Open Weave Bow and scattered Champagne Rhinestones.

Slide & Lock Fun Fold

This is a classy, simple fold to make using so many themes!  This is my take on this fold using the In Symmetry DSP, on sale, with the sentiment from Elegantly Said. I think it's easier to make than to figure out how to open!!

Measurements:   

• Night of Navy:1/2 sheet
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 4 pcs @ 3" square, 2 1/8" square (for sentiment), 3 3/8" square (slide front)
• In Symmetry DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" (lg print), 3 1/8" square (sm print)

To Make This Card:

• Score the Night of Navy base at 2 1/8" from each end.  Fold both ends in creating a "basic gate fold".
• Attach DSP strips to outside pieces. 
• Add Basic White piece to inside.
• To make "slide", fold 2 of the White squares in half.and attach to one of the other squares spine to spine as shown above. Then, add the last 3" square to the "back".
• Now design the "slide" front!
• Attach the DSP to the 3 3/8" White square. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy onto smaller square and attach to DSP.
• Attach this to one side of the "slide", and "lock" onto gated card front!

Turtle Friends Fun Fold

Here is another card we designed for my stamp class at Garner! I love the Turtles and I like to design one simple Fun Fold for them to do. This is a basic "Z" fold!  I used retired DSP (to use it up), but I am sure you can find a current or retired green DSP as well!!  He is just so cute.  And, of course, we added a googlie eye, and those cute acrylic flowers!  Enjoy!!

Measurements:   

• Garden Green: 1/2 sheet, cut LENGTHWISE
• Mint Macaron: 3" x 4"
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" , 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
• Garden Lane DSP (retired): 2 1/2" x 4", 1 1/4" x 4"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Garden Green card base in half, and then fold the front back on itself, again, creating a "Z".  
• Add Basic White piece to inside.
• Attach larger DSP to the front, and DSP strip on top of the White and to the right, as shown.
• Stamp "Turtle" in Memento Black ink. Stamp "shell" in Garden Green ink, as well as "grass".  Allow to dry.  Then, color in "Turtle" in Dk Mint Macaron Blend.
• Stamp sentiment of your choice, above "turtle" in Memento Black ink.
• Mount onto Mint Macaron piece. Now attach LEFT half of this piece to front of card, as shown.
• Finish with Pale Papaya "Loose Flowers" and a 5mm Googlie Eye!!
