Pansy Pop Up Flip Fold

So, I finally had time to play, yesterday with our new Pansy Patch Bundle coming out in the new catalog!  We will be exploring this bundle at Stamp Club tomorrow!  I think you will recognize this fold...I did it in a video a couple of weeks ago!  Here's an original version using the Pansies!  Aren't they adorable...smiling back at you!  I LOVE them!!  They make me happy!!

Measurements:  

• Fresh Freesia (N): 1/2 sheet, scraps
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 3" x 4" (mechanism), 3/4" x 2 1/4" (mechanism), 2 3/4" square, scraps
• Pansy Patch DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Soft Succulent (N): scraps
• Evening Evergreen (N): scraps
• Gorgeous Grape: scraps
• Blackberry Bliss: scraps
• Bumblebee: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Attach Pansy DSP piece to folded Fresh Freesia card, around the outside edges only.
• Cut large scalloped circle from front of card. Keep the Fresh Freesia layer to use later.
• Cut medium circle from Basic White, attach to the scalloped Freesia piece.
• Attach White quarter to inside.
• Score the 3" x 4" Petal Pink piece at 1", 2", 3". Crease well.  Fold this piece in half. Add Tear & Tape to one outside 1" area, one of the ends. Flip this over and adhere to inside of card, with cut edge along fold of card. "Eyeball" this so it is centered behind the Circle opening.
• Keeping this piece folded in half, add Tear & Tape to the other "end" and close the card!  Voila the first mechanism/pop up!
• Now, take the 3/4" strip and score at 1 1/4". Hold in half and crease well. Flip over so the longer side is up, and place Tear & Tape on this area. Close your card, and place this mechanism so the adhesive side is down, short side is up, and cut edge is against the circle. Press down.
• Now place some adhesive on the shorter side. Close card, and place cut circles in the opening and attach to the flap with the adhesive on it. Check to see that it works!!  Isn't it fun!!
• Now cut pieces to make Die Cut Pansy and 2 Leaves.  Attach to white circle. 
• Make a "bud" and "stem" and attach to inside of card. Stamp sentiment in Basic Grey.
• Finish with Fresh Freesia bow.

Ice Cream Cone Corner Tuck

 I LOVE this Ice Cream Corner DSP. Especially the "blobs" of color that allow you to punch awesome ice cream "scoops"! Too much fun!!

Measurements:  

• Pool Party: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 2" square
• Basic White: 2 5/8" x 4"
• Ice Cream Corner DSP (N): 2 1/8" x 4" (cones), Blue (blob), Cones

To Make This Card:

• Fold card base in half.  Remove 3 1/8" from front of card.  Set aside.  Attach DSP to front flap.
• Attach White piece to trimmed Pool Part piece you saved.
• Punch "Ice Cream Scoop" from "blob" and "cone" from cone DSP.  Attach together at top of cone. Attach to layers as shown. 
• Stamp sentiment in Cinnamon Cider and "drip" in Bermuda Bay.  Attach half of these layers to card front.
• Cut Stitched Triangle (2nd smallest) from Pool Party cardstock.  Adhere to card with 1/8" Tear & Tape.  
• Finish with Artistic Blooms sequins and a knot of ribbon!

Tie Corner Tuck Fold

Here is the card that I featured on my video!  I love the Well Suited Bundle, but have not used it...and I've had it since December!! I thought it would be SO GOOD for guy cards!!  The DSP is just AWESOME!!  As I mentioned, it can be used for so many "men", and women, in your life!!

Measurements:  

• Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Basic White: 2 3/4" x 4", 4" x 5 1/4"
• Well Suited DSP (N): 3" x 4 1/4", 2 1/8" square, scrap (for tie/knot)

To Make This Card:

• Fold card base in half.  Remove 3" from front of card.  Set aside.  Attach DSP to front flap.
• Attach White piece to trimmed Night of Navy piece you saved.
• Cut tie & knot from DSP.  Attach to White layer.  I popped up the "knot". Stamp sentiment in Night Of Navy. Attach to card front as shown.
• Cut DSP square in half, diagonally.  Attach one piece to lower corner with 1/8" Tear & Tape, catching layer.

Measurements:  

• Gray Granite: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Basic White: 2 pcs - 2 3/4" x 4" (rectangles), 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (Stitched Oval)
• Petal Pink: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
• Peony Garden DSP : 2 1/2" x 4", 3" square 

To Make This Card:

• Fold card base in half.  Remove 2 7/8" from front of card.  This time toss this piece.  Attach DSP to front flap.
• Cut large Stitched, Scalloped Rectangle from Petal Pink cardstock.  Cut next size Stitched, Scalloped Rectangle from Basic White, twice (one for the inside). Layer together. 
• Stamp sentiment in Gray Granite onto piece of White.  Cut out with Largest Stitched Oval.  Add to layers with Dimensionals, and attach half to card front.
• Place the other rectangle inside behind layers.
• Cut 2 larger Stitched Triangles from Peony DSP. Trim one down to just catch the front, attach to front corner with 1/8" Tear & Tape. Put the other inside, as shown, with 1/8" Tear & Tape. Leave full size.
• Finish with Bow in Gray Granite ribbon, and Petal Pink Elegant Gems!

In Bloom Corner Tuck Fold

 As I mentioned in my video, I LOVE bright pink and black together!!  This card makes me so...HAPPY!! It might be black, but it's also pink!  And not just any pink, our NEWEST pink - Polished Pink!!  Looks close to Magenta Madness until you put it together! I've combined it with the returning Pierced Blooms dies (love them) and the retiring Pretty Perennials stamp set (love the "happy")! You need to give this one a try!!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Basic White: 2 1/4" x 4 1/4", scraps
• True Love DSP (N): 2 1/2" x 4", 2" square
• Polished Pink (N): 3" x 41/2", scraps

To Make This Card:

• Fold card base in half.  Remove 2 3/4" from front of card.  Set aside.  Attach DSP to front flap.
• Emboss "Happy" in White in the center of removed Black piece. Then, attach this Black piece to Polished Pink layer. Add half to front flap.
• Add Basic White layer to inside of card base.
• Cut out several Pierced White flowers, and Polished Pink centers.  Decorate the front (and inside) with various flowes.  
• Stamp sentiment on strip of Basic White and add under Embossed "Happy".
• Cut DSP square in half diagonally.  You will only need one piece.  Save the other piece for another card!! ( or, cut out with Stitched Triangle die - how cool is that!! )Attach triangle to lower Right corner with strong, narrow adhesive. (I used 1/8" Tear & Tape).
• Tuck front flap into triangle and you are done!
