Fold Back Pop Up Tulips

This awesome "guest" card one was made by Club Member and Fellow Demonstrator, Carmen Miyoshi!  Isn't it just gorgeous!  I have made these in the past, but it's been a while!  Carmen's mastered the ability to keep the center diamond popped up!  I love it!!  She's used the retired Flowering Tulips DSP and the current Flowering Tulips stamp set.

Hanging Wisteria

Well, I'm back, but still not creating, yet, so I will be sharing some awesome cards made by my Card Club members!  This one was made by Debbie Liagre!  Isn't it just gorgeous!  She made an upside down "Z" fold using the Wisteria Wishes bundle!. You really do need to give this design a try!!

Hippo Swimming in Galvanized Tub

Here is a cute card that uses the "grid" die from the Split Card Texture Dies. It also features one of the darling hippos "swimming" in a Galvanized Tub! Love the combination of the new Parakeet Party and Flirty Flamingo...along with the brushed silver tub!

Measurements:  

• Basic White: 1/2 sheet, scraps
• Parakeet Party (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Silver Foil: 1 3/8" x 2 3/8"
• Flirty Flamingo: scraps
• Old Olive: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Cut die from Parakeet Party cardstock.  Attach to folded White card.
• Stamp "hippo" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of White.  Color the "hippo" in a gray color.  I like the lighter tones of Gray Granite Blends.  The flower is Flirty Flamingo and the leaf is Parakeet Party.  Cut out with corresponding die. Set aside.
• Cut "goggles" and "tube" from Flirty Flamingo. Set aside.
• Cut "tub" from Silver Foil.
• Cut 5 "tufts of grass" from Old Olive.
• Add "goggles and "tube" to the "hippo".  Adhere to card.
• Attach "tub" over "hippo" with Dimensionals.
• Add "tufts" of grass, some flash and some popped up with Dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment in Flirty Flamingo onto scrap of White.  Cut out with die from Geranium Dies.  Add to card with Dimensionals. 
• Finish with Flirty Flamingo bow.

Potted Geraniums Z Fold

I wanted to make a card using the DIES from this bundle.  Believe it or not, this is really a fast and fun card!  I used the InColor DSP packs for the "label" and accent piece, and the Timeworn Type EF behind the die cut pots.

Measurements:  

• Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet
• InColor DSP Pack (N): 2" x 5 1/4" (Sweet Sorbet Plaid), 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" (Evening Evergreen}
• Basic White:4" x 5 1/4", 2 5/8" x 3 7/8"
• Sweet Sorbet (N): scraps
• Evening Evergreen: scraps
• Basic Gray: scraps
• Smokey Slate: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Fold Evening Evergreen card base in half. Then make Z Fold on front flap by folding the front back on itself and creasing well with a bone folder!
• Attach Sweet Sorbet DSP piece to folded back front.
• Add White quarter to inside.
• Run the Evening Evergreen DSP piece through Stitched Scalloped die from the Scalloped Contour Dies.
• Run the smaller White piece through the Timeworn Type EF.  Attach to the Evergreen DSP "label".
• Cut 2 "flower bases" from Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
• Cut one "leaf" piece from Evening Evergreen cardstock.
• Cut "pot" pieces from Basic Gray and "dirt" from Smokey Slate.
• Attach "pot" pieces together and add to card with Dimensionals.
• Then, glue down "dirt", "leaves", and one "flower".  Attach the other "flowers" with Dimensionals.
• Attach to left half of card.
• Finish with desired sentiment stamped in Evening Evergreen and a few scattered Iridescent Pearls.

Glittery Dancing Hippo

I am just loving this new InColor - Tahitian Tide!! And, the Dancing Hippo is just adorable on the coordinating Glimmer circle!! Add a pop of Flirty Flamingo and my new, favorite die - Split Card Texture Dies - and it's just adorable!!

Measurements:  

• Basic White: 1/2 sheet, scraps
• 2022-2024 InColor DSP Pack (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• 2022-2024 InColor Glimmer Paper (N): 3 1/2" square
• Polished Pink: scraps
• Basic Black: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Cut die from Tahitian Tide DSP.  Attach to folded White card.
• Cut large scallop circle from Tahitian Tide Glimmer paper.
• Stamp "hippo" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of White.  Color the "hippo" in a gray color.  I like the lighter tones of Gray Granite Blends.  The Tutu is colored with Polished Pink Blends. Cut out with corresponding die.
• Cut out the umbrella and 3 flowers from Polished Pink scraps. Cut an additional umbrella "handle" from Black (cut off the top). Adhere together.
• Arrange pieces onto Glitter Circle and then attach to card with Dimensionals.
• Add flower centers with Iridescent Pearls and finish embellishing however you'd like! (I added a small, sheer, white bow)

Glittery Potted Geraniums

I saw this awesome card by Patty Bennett that uses the Split Card Texture Dies, the InColor Glitter Paper and the Potted Geraniums Bundle.  Love it!! We will be doing this card at my month Stamp Club.  You MUST see this one IRL!!

Measurements:  

• Sweet Sorbet (N): 1/2 sheet
• InColor Glimmer Paper (N): 3" x 5 1/4"
• Thick Basic White:4" x 5 1/4", scraps

To Make This Card:

• Cut die from Thick White cardstock.  Attach Glimmer paper behind opening, flush with cut edges.  Then, attach to folded Sweet Sorbet card.
• Stamp "pot" base in Crumb Cake.  Stamp "detail" in Crumb Cake over the top.  Cut out with corresponding die.
• Stamp detail/base  "leaves" in Garden Green.  Stamp solid layer in Parakeet Party.  Cut out with corresponding die.
• Stamp off 3 "flower bases" in Sweet Sorbet, and stamp detail in full strength Sweet Sorbet. Cut out with corresponding die.
• Stamp chosen sentiment in Sweet Sorbet.  Stamp "plant pick" in Crumb Cake, centering sentiment. Cut out with corresponding die.
• I assembled the main pot of flowers on my Silicone Mat, then moved it over to the card.  Tucking 2 of the stamped off flowers BEHIND the "leaves".  Once on the card, add complete "flowers" to the image with Dimensionals.
• FInish with scattered, Sweet Sorbet, InColor Matte Decorative Dots.
