Playing in the Rain Z Fold Slit Card

Stamp Club member, and fellow demonstrator, Carmen Miyoshi, designed and shared this awesome card at our meeting this month.  I have never done this fold before.  Isn't it neat!!     She made her card using the new Playing in the Rain Bundle and Rain or Shine DSP! Both products are just darling! Stay tuned!  I plan on doing a video, soon! Thanks for sharing, Carmen!

Dancing Hippo Thank You

 As I mentioned, Mom's been creating!!  She borrowed my new Alphabest Bundle (can't wait to use it!) to add the "message" to her sample! And, Mom loves the "wobbles" to make her "dance"!  It's so darn, stinkin' cute!!

Measurements:  

• Real Red: 4" x 5 1/4", 1/4" x 3 3/4" strip, scraps
• Thick White: 1/2 sheet
• Basic White: 4" x 8", 3 3/4" x 5", scraps

To Make This Card:

• Attach Real Red layer to folded Thick White base.
• Place letters spaced on one block and stamp in Memento Black. Next punch out with label punch.  Set aside.
• Die cut 3 flowers from REal Red scraps. Set aside.
• Stamp "dancing hippo" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of White.  Color with Blends as shown and cut out with corresponding hippo die.
• Die cut "umbrella" from White as well. Also color this with Blends. 
• Next, take White layer and using a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink, color in a "stage.  Then, attach to card front.
• Lay out remaining pieces in a desired fashion.  The "hippo" is on a "Wobble" and the "umbrella" popped up with several Mini Dimensionals.  The "labels", and "flowers" are adhered flat.  Note: Mom added the strip of red, because she felt it needed some "grounding".
• FIish with rhinestones of your choice in the center of flowers.

This Birthday Piggy

In my absence, Mom made this adorable card using the new This Birthday Piggy stamp set.  We are both loving the new InColor DSP pack!!  This one uses Sweet Sorbet. The patterns, this year, are just awesome.  You really need to have this in your creating stash!! And, stay tuned.  Beginning the first of September we will have six new coordinating dies (Perfect Pairs) offered with stand alone stamp sets from the Annual Catalog and Mini Catalog. AND, there WILL BE dies to go with these piggies!!  So, stay tuned!  They will be offered for the month of September only and you can get them in a Bundle!!!

Measurements:  

• Sweet Sorbet (N): 1/4 sheet
• Basic White: 4" x 8", 2 5/8" x 3 1/8", 7/8" x 2 5/8"
• InColor DSP Pack (N): 3 3/4" x 5"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Basic White card in half. Adhere to Sweet Sorbet quarter. 
• Attach DSP to White card front.
• Stamp "birthday piggy" onto larger White piece with Memento Ink.  Color with Blends as shown.
• Stamp sentiment in Memento Black ink onto smaller piece.
• Attach to card front.
• Finish with new Iridescent Pearls

Marbelous Hippo

Can you tell Mom loves the Hippiest Hippos! She created this one using the retired SAB DSP Simply Marbelous and her new Split Card Dies. This is a different hippo this time, but also on a wobble and her signature "googlie eyes".Too cute!  Thanks, Mom, for sharing!

Measurements:  

• Coastal Cabana: 1/2 sheet, 2 1/2" square
• Basic White: 1/4 sheet, 2 5/8" square, scrap
• Simply Marbelous SAB DSP (ret): 3 3/4" x 5"

To Make This Card:

• Attach White layer to folded Coastal Cabana card.
• Run DSP through Split Card Die. Attach to card front.  Note:I usually use Multipurpose Glue and a Spnge Dauber.
• Stamp "hippo" of your choice in Memento Black.  Color in with desired Blends.  Cut out with corresponding die.
• Attach "hippo" to "wobble" and then mount onto desired punched or die cut circles. (I think Mom used retired punches).
• FInish with tiny "googlie eyes". (Mom's signature!)

Fold Back Pop Up Tulips

This awesome "guest" card one was made by Club Member and Fellow Demonstrator, Carmen Miyoshi!  Isn't it just gorgeous!  I have made these in the past, but it's been a while!  Carmen's mastered the ability to keep the center diamond popped up!  I love it!!  She's used the retired Flowering Tulips DSP and the current Flowering Tulips stamp set.

Hanging Wisteria

Well, I'm back, but still not creating, yet, so I will be sharing some awesome cards made by my Card Club members!  This one was made by Debbie Liagre!  Isn't it just gorgeous!  She made an upside down "Z" fold using the Wisteria Wishes bundle!. You really do need to give this design a try!!

Ladybug Fun Fold

I totally missed this card!  I LOVE it! 

This darling Ladybug card is also a Fun Fold! This card was created by friend and fellow demonstrator Tracy Fazzio. She use the darling Hello Ladybug Bundle with the Artfully Composed DSP!  I WILL be sharing this Fun Fold, which is a variation of a "Z" Fold.

In Bloom Slimline Card

This is a card that I missed posting! (I think) I received this from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Christi Redding from California.  Didn't she do an awesome job!!  She made this awesome slimline card using the Pattern Party Host DSP and the In Bloom Bundle

Slimline Seas the Day

 I AM back, but have yet to do any creating!  So this is a final card, for now, from my demo meeting using a stamp set/bundle I don't have!!

This fun Slimline card was made by friend and fellow demonstrator Jeanette Proenneke!  She used the whimsical Seas the Day Bundle!  This set features some awesome, detailed images and a gorgeous oval frame die!  This one is still on MY list!

Let's Set Sail Barn Door Card

Here's another card from our Demo meeting last month.  It uses our new Sailboat Builder Punch (which I don't have) in a Fun Fold! It also uses our Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, which I forget to use!!

This is a fun Barn Door fold shared by our hostess, and downline, Christy Kimball.  She used the Sailboat Builder Punch, Let's Set Sail stamp set, and the Paradise Palms Bundle all in the current Mini Catalog. Thanks for sharing, Christy!
