Playing in the Rain Split Front Card

I haven't used this Bundle in AGES, and I sure don't know why! It's so stinkin' cute! I saw this idea using the Floral & Gingham Vellum, with the cute dancing bunny, and knew I had to make it! I think I'll do this one in my "advanced" Senior class in May! It's so cheerful!

Measurements:

Pool Party: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, scrap
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", scraps (clouds, bunny)
Thick Basic White: 2 5/8" x 4 1/4" (label)
Floral & Gingham Vellum DSP (N): 3" x 4 1/4"

To Make This Card:

Score Pool Party base @ 2 3/4" from each end. Crease well.
Next, trim 1 1/4" from each end. Save one of these pieces for the label.
Take the White layer and stamp "clouds" and "raindrops" in Pool Party ink, in the upper left corner. Attach layer to inside of card.
Attach gingham vellum onto top cut edge of card base. I used narrow Tear n Tape, but you could use Multipurpose Glue as well. Leave the bottom end free.
Die cut "label" from Countryside Corners Dies from Thick Basic White.
Stamp "bunny" onto "label" in Memento Black ink. Stamp, again, onto regular Basic White. Color with Blends, and die cut with corresponding die.
Attach die cut over stamped image on "label" with Dimensionals.
Center "label" over opening and adhere TOP to top of card with Dimensionals, leaving the bottom half free.
Now, stamp sentiment in Black ink onto scrap of Pool Party. Die cut with label die. I used the retiring Autumn Leaves Dies.
Add "label" to front of card, onto bottom panel. I used a Dimensional on the Right and Bottom Left, leaving the top left free, to tuck in the "bunny label" for closure.
Next, die cut the 3 "clouds" from scrap of regular White. Sponge on some Pool Party color with a Sponge Dauber or Small Blending Brush. Add to card front, with Dimensionals, as shown.
Finish with scattered Pool Party Rainbow Dots

Playing in the Rain Slimline Card

My aunt Marcia, is staying with me a few days this week while she visits my Mom (her sister) in the hospital. She brought a few cards along that she has made, and I thought I'd share one with you! I just LOVE it!! This little bunny just makes me so happy!! It uses the Rain or Shine DSP and die cuts, on a Slimline card!! Enjoy!

Faux Side Step Playing in the Rain

This bundle just makes me happy! It's so cheerful! You know I love Fun Folds and this one is so fun and easy to do. I carefully chopped up the border from the Rain or Shine DSP to make this card, utilizing the different areas of that border DSP. Add the awesome of the beautiful Balmy Blue varigated ribbon and some sparkly dots, and you have a quick, cute card!

Measurements:

Balmy Blue: 5 1/2" x 8" (base), 3" x 6" (step)
Rain or Shine DSP (N): 7/8" x 5 1/4" (lower daisies) , 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (base - middle daisies/sky), 2 3/4" x 4" (step - upper clouds), 3/8" x 5 1/4" strip (inside - whatever you have left!), DIE CUT "bunny"
Basic White:2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card:

Score Balmy Blue piece along 8" side at 3" - 6" - 7". Accordion fold as shown. Crease well.
Attach 7/8" x 5 1/4" DSP "daisy" piece to "bottom". Skip an area, and attach larger piece - middle daisies/sky - to the next area.
Now, take the Blue 3" x 6" piece (step) and score along 6" side at 4 1/4". Crease well. Attach "sky" DSP to the front of this piece.
Turn this over and add Tear & Tape to the lower back edge of both the top and the bottom. (you are on the wrong side)
Remove the Tear & Tape covering on the lower end "step" piece, placing it even with the lower edge.
Remove the other covering, fold the card with all creases in place, and attach to the back of card.
Next, die cut "bunny" from DSP. Attach to "step" with Dimensionals.
To finish the card, place the White piece inside and attach the 3/8" strip to the bottom.
Lastly, tie a bow around the step, and scatter Balmy Blue Glossy Dots.

Clean & Simple Turtle

I just love the Playing in the Rain bundle and Rain or Shine DSP!! We created this Clean & Simple card for Silvercrest!! The "turtle" is just cut from the DSP with a stitched circle! We also used the new, Raindrops Embossing Folder and border daisies!

Measurements:

Old Olive : 1/2 sheet
Basic White: 2 1/2" x 4", scrap
Rain or Shine DSP (N): 1 3/4" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Run the White piece through the new, Raindrops Embossing Folder.
Attach this piece to the top of the folded Old Olive card.
Attach the DSP to the bottom of the card over the White piece.
Cut "Turtle" from DSP with Stitched Circle from Stylish Shapes. Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment in Memento Black onto scrap of White. Fussy cut around words. Attach, flat to card.

Playing in the Rain Turtle Book Binding Card

Love, love, love this DSP! There are touches of shiny pearl ink on one side of the paper! Along with a variety of critters that can be die cut or fussy cut out of the paper!! And, the "rainy" DSP, and delicate little daisy flowers to coordinate with the fields of daisy paper. Too much fun!!

Measurements: :

Old Olive: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Rain or Shine (N): 4" square (print), 1" x 4" (mango check), die cut "turtle"
Basic White: 4" square (inside), scraps (sentiment)
Mango Melody: 1/2" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Fold Old Olive card in half. Score the front flap 1 1/4" from fold. Crease well.
Attach this 1 1/4" to card with Tear Tape.
Attach Daisy Field DSP to front and 1" DSP to "binding". Note: I cut the DSP into 4" strips, going ACROSS the pattern. I cut my "square" from the center strip. The other 2 strips are all daisies, or all clouds.
Die cut "turtle" from DSP using coordinating die.
Stamp sentiment in Memento Black onto scrap of White. Cut out with Stitched Circle from Stylish Shapes Dies.
Add a little color to this shape with our new, smaller Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.
Angle cut the Mango Melody strip at both ends as shown. Attach to card front, where desired.
Add "turtle" to card with Dimensionals.
Add sentiment to card, flat.
Wrap a narrow Olive ribbon around "binding". Tie in a knot.
Finish with 3 adorable, dimensional daisies on the sentiment circle!
