Basic Painted Pumpkins

I have so many of these pumpkins from the DSP left, that I wanted to find a way to use them up at my Senior Center class. I also wanted to use that cute gate with them, so I found this sample that I tweaked a bit. It uses the pumpkins die cut from the Painted Patch DSP, as well as gate and accessories die cut from the Painted Pumpkins Dies. I think my Senior Center gals will like this one! So many occasions that it would be good for!

Measurements:

Cajun Craze: 1/2 sheet
Pecan Pie: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (gate)
Secret Sea: 1 1/4" x 4", scraps
Peaceful Pine: scraps
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
Painted Patch DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Cajun Craze print), 1/2" x 4" (strip inside), 3 die cut pumpkins
Adhesive sheet

To Make This Card:

Adhere DSP to folded Cajun Craze card base.
Next, adhere Secret Sea strip to front about 3/4" from the bottom of the DSP.
Now, die cut "gate" and "extension" from Pecan Pie cardstock. Adhere "main gate" clear to the right of the card front, and overlap" the extension so it fits onto the front as well.
Adhere adhesive sheet to back of Secret Sea scrap. Then, die cut the gate "details", from Secret Sea and adhere to gate, as shown.
Also place adhesive sheet to the back of the Peaceful Pine scrap, and die cut 3 "pumpkin vines". Adhere the "loopy" one to the top of the gate, as shown.
Then, die cut 3 pumpkins. I varied the color and shape.
Adhere 2 to the front. Tuck the other 2 "vines" around the pumpkins.
Stamp sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. Angle cut the "label" and adhere to the "gate" with Dimensionals.
Finish the front with Secret Sea Moody Palette Glossy Dots.
Finish the inside with White layer, strip of DSP, and remaining die cut pumpkin.

Radiant Sunflowers Meets Luxe Foliage DSP

This idea uses strips of the gorgeous Luxe Foliage DSP from last months' Product of the Month (POTM), paired with the sunflower from the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle. So simple, and yet so gorgeous! We'll be making this one in my larger Senior Center class!

Measurements:

Pecan Pie: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Luxe Foil (POTM): 3 pcs @ 1 1/4+" x 5 1/4" one each of the 3 colors, 1/2" x 4" (inside)
Very Vanilla: 1 5/8" x 2 5/8" (label), 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap (flower)
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
Peaceful Pine: scraps

To Make This Card:

Begin by adhering the 3 strips of DSP to the White piece. These should be flush with the sides and top and bottom. You will have approx 1/8" of the White showing when you are done. Just trim this off. Then, trim off the same amount from the top of the piece.
Then, adhere this to the folded Pecan Pie card base.
Next, stamp sentiment in Secret Sea ink on the piece of Very Vanilla for the label). Die cut with label from the Radiant Sunflower Dies. Adhere to front of card, as shown.
Now, stamp the "sunflower" in Basic Black ink onto scrap of Very Vanilla.
Color with Blends as shown, and add a little Wink of Stella, if desired.
Add to card, as shown, with Dimensionals.
Stamp 3 "leaves" in Secret Sea ink onto scrap of Peaceful Pine cardstock. Cut out with corresponding die.
Tuck the 3 "leaves" under the "sunflower", as shown.
Finish the front with scattered Metallic Gems.
Finish the inside with layer of Very Vanilla and strip of DSP.

Gorgeous Luxe Foil Leaf

This is an absolutely gorgeous, clean & simple card! It features last months' Product of the Month, Luxe Foliage (which is still available) along with a gold foiled leaf from the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Bundle. It also uses the new Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies as well as the Sweet Words and Labels dies in Vellum. I hope to make these in all 3 DSP colors!

Measurements:

Pecan Pie: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" (leaf),
Luxe Foil (POTM): 4" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 4" (inside)
Gold Foil cardstock: 3 5/8" x 4 1/2"
Vellum: 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 1/2" x 3 5/8" (sentiment)
Gold Foiling

To Make This Card:

I started by Hot Foiling one leaf in Gold Foil onto a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock. After foiling, die cut it with the corresponding die. Set aside.
Next, adhere DSP piece to folded Pecan Pie card base.
Then, die cut the 2nd largest scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies from the Gold Foil cardstock piece.
To save on both DSP and Gold Foil, I used my trimmer to cut out the center of the rectangle, following the scored dots. Keep the center for future projects, and now the DSP, just shows through the opening, rather than cut another piece!
Now, cut one of the Sweet Words & Labels dies from the Vellum. I used the one where the leaf just fits!
Next, I placed Dimensionals onto the wrong side of the foiled leaf. Place it in place on the vellum label. Then, add adhesive to the vellum, behind the leaf (not easy but it works) to hide the adhesive, and then place in gold foil frame opening.
Stamp sentiment in Pecan Pie ink onto narrow strip of Very Vanilla cardstock. I had cut the "banner". Add to card with Dimensionals, over the end of the "leaf".
To finish the front, add a Gold Cord bow, and scattered Metallic Gems.
Finish the inside with Very Vanilla layer, and strip of DSP.

Elegant Leaves Clean & Simple Card

I just love fall colors! I found this card that I thought would be perfect for my Senior Center Gals! It uses the often missed Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders, with a touch of Glow of Harvest DSP - the August POTM. It's really gorgeous IRL!

Measurements:

Golden Glow (N): 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet, 2 3/4" x 4", 5/8" strip
Cajun Craze 2-Tone Cardstock: 1 1/2" x 4 1/2", 3 1/2" x 4 5/8"
Glow of Harvest DSP (POTM): 3 3/8" x 4 1/2", 1/2" strip

To Make This Card:

Run the Golden Glow layer through the "leaves" embossing folder from the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders, twice. (this is a mini folder)
Also, emboss the Cajun Craze 2-Tone strip, dark side up.
Adhere the Golden Glow layer to the folded Very Vanilla card base.
Next, adhere the DSP piece to the lighter side of the Cajun Craze 2-Tone cardstock, and then attach to the front of the card.
Now, take the embossed 2-Tone strip, and lightly sand it, revealing the white core underneath, and then add to card front, as shown.
Next, stamp solid "leaf" stamp in Golden Glow ink onto piece of Very Vanilla. Then, stamp "detail" in Cajun Craze on top. Die cut with corresponding die. Then, add some Wink of Stella.
Add this to front of card with Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment of your choice in Cajun Craze ink onto strip of Very Vanilla. Add to card with Dimensionals.
Finish inside with strip of DSP.
Finish front with Golden Glow pearls, Antique Pearls colored with a dark Cajun Craze ink, and Linen Thread bow.
