Old Olive Corner Bouquet

I haven't played with this classy SAB set - Corner Bouquet - yet.This sample was actually created by one of my recruits, Susie Wood.  She has an awesome clean and simple style and loves to create with interesting cuts and folds. I love it!

Measurements:  

• Old Olive: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• Pear Pizzazz: 3 1/4" x 4"
• Basic White: 3" x 3 3/4" (stamped front), 4" x 4" (inside)
• Paper Blooms SAB (N): 1" x 4" (leaves), 4" x 4" (stripes)
• Soft Seafoam: scrap

To Make This Card

• Fold Old Olive card in half.  Trim off 1 1/4" from front.  Attach 1" DSP to lower edge, and White square to the inside. And, attach 4" square of DSP to the front.
• Attach Pear Pizzazz to Old Olive Layer.
• Stamp larger corner image in Old Olive in corner of Basic White piece.  Add sentiment from Touch of Ink stamp set (most of this card is free items from SAB!) in upper right. Attach to layering piece.  Add to card as shown.  About 1/2" will extend below the cut edge.
• Stamp "dragonfly" in Old Olive ink onto scrap of Soft Seafoam.  Punch out. Shape the wings a little and attach to card with Mini Glue Dots.  Embellish with 3 pearls (3 different sizes).
• Finish with a knot of white ribbon.

Gingham Heart

Here is a sample using the Lots of Heart Bundle, in a non-Valentine version.  This would be good for ANY occasion, and in ANY color combination.  This combo caught my eye.  I just thought the designer used some of our old gingham DSP, but no, this is a stamp in the stamp set!!

Measurements:  

• Balmy Blue: 1/2 sheet, 2 1/4" x 3 3/4"
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 3" square, 1/2" strip, scraps
• Subtles DSP: 2" x 5 1/4" (this is a sneak peek of a pattern in the new papers!)
• So Saffron: 3 1/2" square, scrap
• Pear Pizzaz: scrap

To Make This Card

• Attach Basic White piece to folded Balmy Blue card.
• Adhere So Saffron DSP to left side of card front as shown.
• Run Balmy Blue piece through the new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to card as shown.
• Cut "scallop heart" from solid So Saffron.
• Stamp "dotty heart" in So Saffron onto a scrap of Basic White, and the "gingam heart" in Balmy Bllue onto 3" square.  Cut out with corresponding dies.  
• Also cut one "flower" in So Saffron and one "flower" in Pear Pizzaz to decorate the "gingham" heart. Use the "floral details" die to do this!!  Cool, huh!
• Stamp the sentiment of your choice in Black Memento ink onto strip of Basic White.
• Now you're ready to assemble the rest of the card!  Attach the "gingham heart" to the So Saffron scalloped heart, with Dimensionals.  Attach to card at an angle, as shown.  
• Attach the small, So Saffron "flower" to heart with Mini Dimensionals (if you don't have these, yet, you NEED them!!) Then, cut 2 "petals" from the Pear Pizzaz "flower", leaving the centers in place, and attach to "gingham heart" under So Saffron flower.
• Add sentiment strip.  I used Mini Dimensionals. Finish with "dotty" heart.  I had to put one Mini Dimensional on the outside edge.
• Finish with Basic Pearls colored with the Dk Balmy Blue Blend. (The blue pearl in the Pastel pearls might work as well, except it is Seaside Spray...)

Lots of Heart Window Flip Up

I hope that you love this bundle as much as I do, because I sat down yesterday and created FIVE cards using it!! It can be used for so many occasions!! I LOVE the little curly heart border. (You have to look close in this one!) While I was inspired by another demonstrator, most of this is all mine, down to the Magenta Madness and Black color combination.  Bright pink and black are one of my favorite color combinations, especially for Valentine's.  Enjoy....and stay tuned!  There's more of this one to come!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 1/4 sheet
• Magenta Madness: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", 3 1/2" square, 1" strip
• True Color DSP(N): 3 1/4" x 6"
• Basic White: 3 1/4" x 5 1/2
  

To Make This Card

• Score the DSP at 1/2" from the top.  Crease well.  Attach to Basic White piece with a strong adhesive.  Attach to Magenta Madness strip.
• Lay the DSP out flat and cut the "smooth" heart from the front of the DSP. (Note: There are 2 heart dies in this set!  One makes a single, outside cut.  The other makes a double cut, creating 2 hearts, one is a very thin "rope" heart and the other is the center! Really unique!) Keep this heart for another project.
• Cut the "scalloped heart" from the Magenta Madness square.  Insert the "floral detail" piece and cut both out at the same time.
• Attach the outside heart around the opening in the DSP, and attach the "floral detail" through the heart and onto the Basic White piece. Note: A good way to attach this is with a piece of sponge and your Multipurpose Glue. 
• Cut the "rope hearts" from the strip of Magenta Madness.  Attach to bottom of card.  Trim as necessary.
• Finish with a wrap around bow of Magenta Madness ribbon and some pearls in the larger flowers.

Lots of Heart Foil Heart

How did I miss this beautiful bundle - Lots of Heart! The dies are just GORGEOUS! There are fun stamps and beautiful dies. This one I've paired with the Love You Always Foil, Pearlescent Paper, and Peony Garden DSP! You have to see this one!  The foil and details in the dies are just gorgeous!

• Peony Garden: 4: x 5 1/4" (petal pink floral), 1 1/4" x 4" (gray granite print)

To Make This Card

• Attach Petal Pink DSP to folded Petal Pink card.
• Attach Gray Granite DSP to strip of Blushing Bride Foil.  Attach to card.
• Cut "cutwork" flowers from Pearlescent Paper.  Cut solid Gray Granite Heart (I used the larger one) and then cut  fancy, scalloped heart from Blushing Bride Foil Square. Oh, you'll also cut the small piece of "flowers" for on top of the "cutwork" piece from Blushing Bride Foil as well.  Assemble all those together.
• Attach to card over band with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Champagne Rhinestones.
