Sending Smiles Clean & Simple Card

Here is another fun card that we made at our Retreat! It also uses the new Sending Smiles bundle, as well as the new InColors! I love the scallop circle cut out

Measurements:

Thick White: 1/2 sheet sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 3/4" x 5", scraps
Sweet Sorbet (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
2022-2024 InColor DSP: 2 1/2" square
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"

To Make This Card:

Attach Sweet Sorbet layer to folded Thick White Card.
Cut 1 3/4" scallop circle from upper, center of White layer.
Run this layer through Painted Texture EF.
Adhere DSP to card under where circle opening will be from White layer.
Attach to card with Dimensionals.
Stamp large "flower" in Orchid Oasis. Stamp center in Tahitian Tide. Cut out with corresponding die.
Stamp smaller "flower" in Sweet Sorbet. Stamp center in Tahitian Tide. Cut out with corresponding die.
Stamp "stem" in Parakeet Party. Cut out with corresponding die.
Attach these pieces to card front as shown, popping up large "flower" in center circle opening.
Stamp sentiment in Orchid Oasis. Cut out with label die. Attach to card with Mini Dimensionals.

New InColor Flower Punched Card

Love the layout of this card and love the new InColors on Black! We also made this one at our retreat! It could be made with many of our punches and dies as well!

Measurements:

Basic Black: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
Sweet Sorbet (N): 3 1/2" x 4 1/2", 1 1/4" strip
Tahitian Tide (N): 1 1/4" strip
Parakeet Party (N): 1 1/4" strip
Orchid Oasis (N): 1 1/4" strip

To Make This Card:

Attach Sweet Sorbet layer to folded Black card and attach Black layer to Sweet Sorbet layer.
Stamp 2 large flowers in Tahitian Tide and Orchid Oasis. Punch out.
Stamp 3 large flowers in Parakeet Party, and Sweet Sorbet. Punch out.
Arrange the flowers onto Black layer as shown, leaving 1 flower for the inside.
Stamp sentiment in Black Ink.
Finish with newIridescent Pearls.

Garden Birdhouses Picture This

This was one of the cards we made on our Retreat! It was designed by my good friend Jeanette Proenneke. We had several cards using this awesome stamp set, Garden Birdhouses. I didn't have it...but I do now!! So, stay tuned. You're going to want it, too!

Measurements:

Fresh Freesia: 1/2 sheet,
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"

To Make This Card:

Run White layer through Picture This Circle Dies.
Set aside the cut out circles, then take the remaining base and run it through the Stitched Greenery Die. Attach this to folded Fresh Freesia card.
Next, stamp the individual images from the stamp set onto the circles. Color in with Blends as shown.
Now, re-insert the circles into the circle openings with Dimensionals.
And, Voila, you're done!

Flip, Flap Gate Fold Mystery Card

This is another one of Sharon Armstrong's "Mystery Cards"! I saw a version using the retired Encircled in Beauty Dies and knew I had to give this a try! There are so many possibilities with this fold, too! This one uses our fun, new Tea Boutique DSP that is full of cute, small patterns. (I got the DSP, but not the bundle!) and our new Parakeet Party InColor!

Measurements:

Parakeet Party (N): 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 4" square (for doily), 2 pcs @ 1 3/4" x 5"
2022-2024 InColor DSP pack (N): 2 pcs @ 2 1/2" x 4"
Tea Boutique DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 1 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", scrap

To Make This Card:

Score Parakeet Party base at 2 3/4" from each end. Crease well.
Attach InColor DSP to each side of "gate".
Attach Tea Boutique DSP to cardstock "flaps/strips". Attach TOP "flap/strip" to LEFT "gate" and BOTTOM "flap/strip" to RIGHT "gate".
For my card, cut "doily" from square piece of Parakeet Party using retired Encircled in Beauty Die. Cut this in half.
Attach one half of "doily to each "flap/strip" as shown.
Insert White piece inside, and finish as desired.
I decided to attach a sentiment from the Garden Greenhouse stamped in Garden Green and cut out with banner from new Stylish Shapes dies. I attached this to the TOP "flap/strip"
