Boutique Blossoms Layered Card

I've probably had this bundle since the current catalog came out.  The flower is just stunning as is the coordinating DSP!  However, i just hadn't gotten around to using it! This is a version of a card I found from demonstrator Cindy Elam (of course, with  my own twist). We will be doing it in my Senior Center Class...and maybe my monthly class as well!

Measurements:

  • Crisp Cantaloupe (N): 1/2 sheet
  • Bloom Boutique DSP (N): 2 7/8" x 4 3/4", 1/2" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White: 2 1/2" square (flower); 3 1/8" square (smooth circle); 3 3/4" square (embossed circle); 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap (label)
  • Lost Lagoon: scraps
To Make this Card:

  • Adhere DSP piece to folded Crisp Cantaloupe card base. Attach it clear over to the left of card.
  • Next, take Scalloped Blooms Dies and die cut one, larger White one with no stitching, and the next smaller size with stitching.
  • Emboss the larger, scalloped circle with the retiring Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder. Set aside.
  • Stamp outline of "rose" onto piece of White, in Calypso Coral. Color in with Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral Blends. Die cut with corresponding die. Add a little Wink of Stella to the flower.
  • Die cut 2 "leaves" with Boutique Blossoms dies and Lost Lagoon Cardstock.
  • Adhere largest, scalloped circle to front of card, to the left, as shown. I used squares of the Adhesive Foam Sheets.
  • Next, add the smooth, scalloped circle with square of the Adhesive Foam Sheet.
  • And, lastly, I added the flower.
  • Then, tuck the leaves under the flower.
  • Add a Crisp Cantaloupe bow, as shown.
  • For the label, stamp sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink. Die cut with die from the Sweet Words and Labels Dies. Add to card front with Dimensionals.
  • Finish front with new Glossy Garden Dots.
  • Finish inside with stamped rose buds in the in corner, colored with Blends, and a strip of the gorgeous DSP.
