Fast, Fun, Flowering Vine

As Mom and I were experimenting with the Stitched Lace die on the previous card, we also considered the Flowering Vine Dies. Since we decided on the Stitched Lace on the other card, we still had this piece to use!  I love these dies, that will be retiring in June. I haven't used them near enough!!  What's really neat, is the colors that are UNDER the flowers are die cut, too!!  This makes it really fast and fun!!  Not of that mosaic stuff!!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet,  3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (lace)
  • Coastal Cabana: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Magenta Madness: scraps
  • Mango Melody: scraps
To Make This Card:

  • Attach Coastal Cabana quarter to folded Basic White card.
  • Run Basic White piece through the Rectangle Flowering Vine Die.
  • Cut out 1 large, and 4 medium "flowers" from Magenta Madness. And, cut 10 small "flowers" from the Mango Melody (thankfully, there are 3 flower dies, so this goes fairly quickly.)
  • Adhere the corresponding flowers to the back of the die. I used Multipurpose Glue and a Stampin' Sponge.
  • Stamp and emboss the sentiment of your choice in White.
  • Now, flip the rectangle piece over and attach to card above sentiment.
  • Finish with embellisment of your choice for the flower centers!
