I was wanting to create my own version of a Pop Up Gate Fold, so I created this card that uses the Balmy Blues in the You're a Peach DSP. I created this for my shoebox swap this week. Hope you like it!
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet
- Balmy Blue: 2 @ 1 7/8" x 5 3/8", 1 @ 2 1/8" x 5 3/8", 2 3/4" x 4" (label)
- Basic White:2 1/4" x 3 3/8"
- You're a Peach DSP (N): 2 @ 1 5/8" x 5 1/8" (stripe), 1 @ 1 7/8" x 5 1/8" (buds)
To Make This Card
- Score the Whick Basic White base at 2" - 3 1/8" - 5 3/8" - 6 1/2". Crease well with Bone Folder in directions shown.
- Attach the narrower 2 Balmy Blue pieces to the side flaps, add the corresponding, stripe DSP on top.
- Attach the remaining Blue piece on the center. Add corresponding DSP.
- Cut medium stitched scalloped rectangle from regular White. Stamp "branch" in Pear Pizzazz. Add "blossoms" in stamped off Balmy Blue. And "centers" in full strength Balmy Blue. Add sentiment in Memento Black.
- Cut larger stitched scalloped rectange from Balmy Blue. Attach White layer to this piece, and then flush onto card.
- Finish with scattered Artistry Blooms sequins.
