Peach Triangle Flip Card

This awesome idea comes from Susie Wood.  It's a version of the Criss Cross fold that we used to do years ago, when we called it a Triangle Flip.  It was part of our 13 Quick Cards. This one uses that awesome full die called Stitched Greenery, as well as the You're a Peach DSP that is on sale this month! We will be doing this card at my Fun Fold Class the end of the month!

Measurements:

  • Balmy Blue: 1/2 sheet, cut LENGTHWISE
  • Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" x 4", scraps
  • You're a Peach DSP (N): 4: x 5 1/4" (Balmy Blue)
  • Pear Pizzazz : 4" x 5 1/4"
To Make This Card:

  • Fold Balmy Blue base in half.  Cut diagonally from upper right corner, to lower left fold line. Set aside.
  • Take DSP and also cut diagonally, as shown. Attach one piece to the card front.  Flip over the other triangle, and attach to the trimmed piece.
  • Criss cross those pieces, adhering to each other, lining up lower edge and points.
  • Cut out 2 scalloped rectangles from Scalloped Contour Dies.
  • Stamp "branch" in Pear Pizzazz onto one as shown.
  • Ink up 3 "peaches" in Pale Papaya, sponge a little Calypso Coral to one side. Cut these out with coordinating die.
  • Then, ink up large "peach" in Pale Papaya, and repeat with Calypso Coral. Cut out with corresponding die.
  • Stamp "leaves" in Pear Pizzazz.  Cut out with corresponding die.
  • Attach stamped rectangle to card front with Dimensionals, remembering that some of the back witll be exposed!  Add "peaches" to "branch" with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral.  Cut out with corresponding die.  Attach to layer with Mini Dimensionals.
  • Run Pear Pizzazz piece through Stitched Greenery die. Attach to inside of card.
  • Now, line up inside rectangle to outside one. Attach inside.
  • Finish inside with large "peach" and "leaf". And, a bow of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon.
