Overlapping Fun Fold - Snowman

Here is a Fun Fold that is new to me, too, but oh so fun and easy to do!!  My thanks to demonstrator Lisa Curcio for sharing!! The directions are for the "Snowman", but I am also including an optional version using Celebrate Sunflowers, for the future!

Measurements:

  • Whisper White 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" square
  • Real Red: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", 3 1/2" x 4" (Left side), 3" x 3 1/2" (Right side)
  • Plaid Tidings DSP (N): Black Plaid - 2 strips 3/4" x 4", 3 1/4" square (L side), 2 3/4" square (R side)
To Make This Card:
  • Attach DSP strips to top and bottom of inside (White 4" x 5 1/4") layer. Attach to Real Red layer (1/16" edge showing)
  • Score long side of overlapping pieces at 1/2".  Crease well with Bone Folder. Attach corresponding DSP to each piece.
  • Place Stampin' Seal+ or Tear Tape along INSIDE of  each 1/2 "flap".  Line up evenly to exposed white and wrap around with "flap" to the back.  Repeat with smaller piece.  Attach base to White base of card.
  • Stamp and color "focal point".  Attach to smaller square.
  • I like to keep mine closed with a clear velcro dot.
  • NOTE: You can either mount the overlapping pieces so that they are "square, or you can offset them.
