Measurements (Vertical Version):
  • Magenta Madness (N): 4 1/4" x 9 1/2", 2 5/8" x 3 5/8"
  • Real Red: 1 1/8" x 4", 2 1/2" x 4", 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
  • Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/8" x 3 1/8"
  • Flowers for Every Season DSP (N): 1" x 3 3/4", 2 3/8" x 3 3/4"
To Make This Card:
  • Score Magenta Madness "base" at 1 1/4" and 2 3/4".  (With this version, I created the top flap longer than the lower flap). Crease well with bone folder.
  • Attach layers as shown.  Attach Whisper White piece to "inside".
  • Create piece to "bridge" the 2 sides.  For this example, I used the Gnome stamped on a Stitched Oval, and layered it on a smooth and scalloped oval. Attach the top of the "oval" to the top flap, and leave the bottom flap free. (I like to close with a small, clear "Velcro" dot.) - You can either omit the "bell" on his hat, or cover it with a jewel, pompom, etc.
  • Use the Stamparatus to line up the message/greeting on the Whisper White piece between "flaps"... In the "Missing Middle"!

Prized Peony Slimline Card

Have you tried a SLIMLINE CARD, yet??  I made these years ago as a "money envelope", back when we gave checks or cash for gifts! These are so popular right now! And, they either fit into a "business sized" envelope (or you create your own!) I shared this Slimline Card with my Stamp Club this month. Let me know if you give this style card a try!

Faux Shaker Jar of Flowers

Love this Suite of products!  It's called the Jar of Flowers, and also includes the Celebrate  Sunflower bundle! I have always loved the Mason Jars, but this smaller, more delicate version is probably my favorite! I am thinking about using this Bundle as my Set Sampler this month because it has so many possibilities!  What do you think?

Measurements and Products Used
  • Just Jade (N): 1/2 sheet
  • Pool Party: 3 1/4" x 4 5/8"
  • Whisper White: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

To Make This Card
  • Run front of Just Jade base through Greenery EF by lining up edge of EF to center crease of folded card.  Run through the Embossing Machine. Now, line up edge and pattern of EF to embossed image, and run through, again.

  • Cut Stitched Rectangle from Whisper White. Stamp "flowers" in Memento Ink near top of rectangle and color with Blends as shown.  Punch a "blank" jar from a scrap of cardstock.  Place in desired position below flowers as shown, mark placement with a pencil and punch a jar.

  • Stamp "jar", "stems", and "water" onto punched "blank". (I stamped off the "water"). Position White Layer on top of Pool Party piece.  Apply adhesive to back of stamped "jar", and place in punched opening.  Remove White Layer, for now. Since I was low on the gems, we glued the "marbles" to the bottom of the jar before attaching the shaker. Adhere to folded Just Jade card base.

  • Remove the paper from the top of the "shaker" jar. Wrap gingham ribbon around the top of "shaker" and attach to back with a Mini Glue Dot.  Insert "shaker" into jar opening. (You may need to trim a little of the shaker from the bottom of the layer if it is showing}. Leaving the adhesive liner on the backside of the shaker in place, attach adhesive to the back of the white layer, and set into place, centering over Pool Party piece. Finish by tying a knot of Gingham ribbon around piece in place.
