July 2020 5/$10 Card Class Samples

Good Morning, Stampers!!

Ready for some In-Person Classes?? At your request, I am going to slowly begin holding In-Person Classes, once again, with a limited number of students. My monthly 5/$10 Class will be next week, July 22 & 23. The AFTERNOON Class will be Wednesday, July 22 from 1-4, and the EVENING Class will be Thursday, July 23 from 6:30-9:30. Class size is limited to 6. (one per table). We will be doing a Variety of cards, sets and techniques using new stamps and products from the New Annual Catalog! Please RSVP by Tuesday morning, July 21. Card Kits (no stamping) will be available with precut cardstock, pictures and directions. You can either purchase the sets to duplicate my samples or use what you already have in your collection.

Jar of Sunflowers

Measurements & Products Used:

Early Espresso: 1/2 sheet
Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4", Scraps
Window Sheet: 1 5/8" x 2 1/2"
In Good Taste DSP: 1 1/2" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Run Whisper White DSP through Brick & Mortar EF. Highlight "bricks" with a Silk Sponge and Sahara Sand Ink. Attach to folded Early Espresso Card. Adhere DSP to bottom of card for "table".
Stamp "jar" on Whisper White with Memento Ink. Add "stems". Color stems with Old Olive Blends. Punch out with Jar Punch. Punch "jar" from Window Sheet. Attach Window Sheet over "jar" with Multipurpose Glue. When dry, tie Gingham Ribbon in a knot around top of "jar".
Stamp "sunflowers" in Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White. Color with Blends as shown. "Fussy" cut with Paper Snips. Attach these flowers to card with Dimensionals. The top of the arrangement will be about 1/4" from top of "brick" piece. Adhere the "jar" under the flowers. Finish with a little Wink of Stella in the center of the Sunflowers.

Forever Fern Center Easel Card

Hello, Stampers! Today I am featuring a card that I made in a Virtual Stamping event for Demonstrators - Vacation Stamping School!! It was so much fun! This card is a Fun Fold, called a Center Easel Card. Isn't it gorgeous! I liked it so much, that I wanted to SHARE it with YOU!! So, we will be doing this card in my next Monthlly Class on July 22 or 23rd. (See my calendar for details).

Measurements and Products Used:

Thick Whisper White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White: 3 1/4" x 8 1/2", 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (oval), 2" x 3" (leaf)
Mint Macaron: 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (scalloped oval)
Forever Greenery DSP: 2 pcs 1" x 4" strips
Pretty Peacock: 2 1/2" x 3" (leaf)

To Make This Card:

Score 8 1/2" piece at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". Crease. Emboss "greenery" on top piece.
Attach DSP strips to either side of card base.
Stamp 2 pieces shown with coordinating in. Add greeting above images. Adhere to card between DSP strips.
Cut Scallop Oval from Mint Macaron. Cut Smooth Oval from white piece. Adhere together.
Stamp "fern" in Old Olive, cut out with corresponding die. Cut larger "fern" from Pretty Peacock cardstock. Arrange on card as shown. Stamp greeting onto oval in Old Olive. Attach HALF of Oval to front strip.
Finish with Gilded Gems. Large one to prop up front strip and 2 to decorate the Oval. Add a little sprig of Gold Foil Greenery.
