Acetate Window Card

This is one of the cards that we will be doing in my July Stamp Club.  It uses an Acetate Window front, and diecuts from the awesome Forever Greenery Bundle, along with a touch of gold accents from the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper!

Measurements and Products Used:
  • Garden Green: 4 1/4" x 11", 2 3/4" x 8 1/2", 2" x 4 1/4", 1" x 4 1/4"
  • Forever Greenery DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Window Sheet: 4" x 5 1/2"
To make this card:
  • Score card at 5 1/2".  Trim away 4 1/2" from front of card.  Use this piece that you just removed to cut 1 pc - 2" x 4 1/4", and 1 pc 1" x 4 1/4".  Score the 2" piece lengthwise down the center at 1".
  • Attach DSP to inside of card.  Attach Window Sheet to wrong side of front 1" flap with Tear Tape. Attach Tear Tape to front of lower Window Sheet at 1" and below. (I used 2 strips).
  • Cut 2 large "ferns" from Garden Green cardstock.  Shade with Garden Green Ink and Sponge Dauber. Arrange on to Window Sheet, just attaching to Tear Tape. Add Gold accents from Laser Cut sheets.
  • Fold 2" piece in half.  Stamp greeting on this piece, if desired. Attach Tear Tape to both inside sides of piece.  Remove backing and wrap around bottom of Window Sheet, encasing die cuts.
  • Finish by adhering 1" piece to inside of card, over Window Sheet to hide tape and tying a ribbon of your choice around the top flap.
