So, one Spanner Card under my belt, and I set out to design my own! This version we will be doing at this months' stamp club. It uses our gorgeous, new Sweet as a Peach Bundle! I LOVE the colors!! Aren't they just yummy!!
Measurements:
- Pear Pizzazz: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", 1 1/8" x 3", scraps
- Pale Papaya (N): 4 pcs - 1 1/8" x 4 1/8", 1 pc - 2 7/8" x 4 1/8
- Window Sheet (bridge): 1 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- Sweet as a Peach DSP (N): Pattern #1 - 2 pcs 1" x 4", Pattern #2 - 2 pcs 1" x 4", center piece 2 3/4" x 4"
To Make This Card:
- Adhere 1/4 piece of Basic White to inside of card.
- Fold Pear Pizzaz card in half. Crease well. Now, cut from cut edge to fold 1 1/4" on each side.
- Adhere all pieces to coordinating Pale Papaya layers. Attach Pattern #1 to front areas, Pattern #2 to inside, and larger piece to the center flap.
- With center flap down, take Window Sheet and attach to inside bottom of 1 1/4" pieces, creating a "bridge".
- Stamp sentiment in Pear Pizzazz onto small strip of Basic White. Cut out with die from Ornate Frames dies. Attach to wrong side WINDOW SHEET with Mini Glue Dots.
- The main part of your card is now done! Now, to decorate!!
- Stamp 1 large peach in Petal Pink, small "blossoms" in Calypso Coral, and "leaves/branch" in Pear Pizzazz. Cut out with corresponding dies. (If you would like to add some small "peaches" inside, then stamp those in Petal Pink and cut out with corresponding die.
- Arrange pieces as desired. I covered the visible Mini Glue Dots with 2 "blossoms".
