I created this card for my classes, using the Simply Zinnia Bundle in the Online Exclusives! I love the contrast of the colors and the use of the unusual piece of DSP!
Measurements: :
- Lemon Lime Twist: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 7/8" x 3 1/4", scrap
- Basic White: 4" square
- Poppy Parade: scrap
- Calypso Coral: scrap
- Petal Pink: scrap
- Flowering Zinnias DSP(N)(OE): 4" square (leaves), 1" x 4", 1/2" x 4" (stripe - reverse)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Lemon Lime Twist card in half. Score the front flap 1 1/4" from fold. Crease well.
- Attach 1" strip DSP to "binding".
- Next, wrap ribbon around this piece, and tie in a bow.
- Lastly, attach "binding" area to card with Tear n Tape.
- Now, you can attach the "leaf" square of DSP to front.
- Die cut lower flower from Poppy Parade, upper flower from Calypso Coral, centers from Petal Pink, and one leaf from Lemon Lime Twist. Assemble all together as shown. Set aside.
- Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto strip of Lemon Lime Twist. Attach to card front.
- Next, attach "flower" to card front, as shown. Tuck "leaf" underneath, where desired.
- Finish outside with scattered Shiny Sequins.
- To finish inside, attach white piece, then strip of DSP.
