Clean & Simple Bunny

Here is a clean and simple card that uses the Bunny from the Easter Friends Stamp Set! He's so cute!!  It also uses my favorite, retiring DSP - Hand Penned (yes, I've stocked up!) and the returning Scalloped Contour Dies. So sweet!

Measurements:

  • Blushing Bride: 1/2 sheet
  • Hand Penned DSP: 4" x 5 1/4" (print), 3 3/8" x 4 3/4" (Blushing Bride print-layer)
  • Basic White: 2 5/8" x 4 1/8"
To Make This Card:
  • Attach DSP print to folded Blushing Bride card.
  • Cut scalloped rectangle from Blushing Bride print.
  • Stamp sentiment in Basic Gray at top of White layer. Stamp "bunny" below.  Add "grass" in Mint Macaron.
  • Take sponge dauber and Mint Macaron ink and add shading around "bunny".  Attach this piece to cut rectangle.
  • Next, wrap Soft Succulent ribbon around this layer and tie in a bow. Then attach this piece to card front with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with Soft Succulent InColor Jewels.

Cute Chick on a Doily

I saw this darling card on a website and knew I had to give it a try!  So cute, clean and simple!!  It also gave me the chance to use my favorite Hand Penned DSP before it's gone!

Measurements:

  • So Saffron: 1/2 sheet
  • Hand Penned DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White: scrap
To Make This Card:
  • Stamp "chick" in Memento Black ink in center of the wrong side (white side) of a Heart & Home Doily.
  • Color "chick" with Blends as shown.  Stamp "grass" in Old Olive ink.  Attach near top of DSP.
  • Stamp sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto scrap of White.  Punch out with retired Timeless Label Punch.
  • Attach ribbon to back of punch.  Attach punched label to front of DSP layer, wrap ribbon around and secure to the back of the DSP.
  • Now, you can attach the DSP to the folded So Saffron card!
  • Finish with Pale Papaya (yes, Pale Papaya) InColor Jewels.
