I've seen this fold in several places, and finally got to give it a try! It literally combines a Book Binder fold with a "Z" fold! This little gem utilizes the beautiful Unbounded Beauty DSP along with its' coordinating Glimmer Paper cut with a frame from the Unbounded Love Dies. I just love it!
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/4" x 4 1/4", scraps
- Unbounded Beauty DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 1" x 4", 3" x 4"
- InColor Glimmer Paper (N): 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" Pretty in Pink
- Adhesive Sheet: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
- Pretty in Pink: 1/2" strip
To Make This Card:
- Fold White card base in half. Score front at 2 1/8" - 4 1/4". Crease well.
- Place Tear n Tape on the 1 1/4" area, near crease. Press together creating a Book Binding Fun Fold.
- Attach the 1" strips to the card as shown. One to the binding, and one to the opposite side, inside.
- Next, take the other White panel and attach coordinating DSP.
- Adhere Adhesive Sheet to back of Glimmer paper. Run Detailed Oval Die through the big shot. Peel off backing and adhere oval to piece with DSP, as shown.
- Next stamp one flower. Stamp the outline first, full strength, then the solid color, stamped off. Die cut with corresponding die. Set aside.
- Die cut "sprig" from Basic White (you will need only one).
- Next, stamp sentiment in Pretty in Pink on the Pretty in Pink strip. Cut ends diagonally.
- Now, to arrange over the Oval. First, attach the sentiment near bottom of the oval with Dimensional. Then, add 'flower", with a Dimensional. and lastly, add sprig with a rolled glue dot, under flower.
- Finish front with a 2024 Shimmer Gem.
- Inside, I stamped a sentiment in Pretty in Pink and stamped one flower
