My Stampiversary!!

Happy Stampiversary to me!! I would have never thought when I signed up to be a demonstrator 24 years ago, what a ride it would be!! So many friends, customers, PROJECTS, classes,and honors along the way. It's the longest job I've ever held! But, is it a job?? No it's my passion! Thank you to so many of you that have made my journey awesome!

Flowers of Friendship Easel Card

I haven't used this bundle much, yet, but I LOVE it!! It's the Flowers of Friendship stamps and Flowers & Leaves Punch. This sample uses some of our new InColors!! It is SO pretty! It also looks nice done with the Pale Papaya or Soft Succulent Ginighams. This card also uses some of sale DSP - Pansy Petals!!

Measurements:

Fresh Freesia: 1/2 sheet cut lengthwise, 3" x 4 1/2", scrap
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Pansy Petals DSP (N): 2 1/2" x 4"

To Make This Card

Fold card base in half, and then the front half, again, to the INSIDE this time!
Attach the White layer to the "inside", and the Gingham Layer to the front "flap".
Stamp row of "flowers" on the bottom of the inside, White piece. Color themin with Freesia Blend.
Ink up the stamp with Ink Spots or Sponge Daubers in the colors shown. (You could also color with the Stampin' Write Markers, but the Freesia is not dark enough, you realy need the ink). Huff the stamp and stamp onto the White piece.
Now, color in the images with the coordinating Blends.
Attach this piece to the Fresh Freesia piece. Add adhesive to the lower half of this piece, center onto closed front of card, and adhere to Gingham DSP.
Stamp sentiment in Fresh Freesia onto scrap of Freesia cardstock. Punch out with Label Me Fancy Punch. Place Dimensionals onto back of this piece.
Open card to easel postion, and add label to prop it up.
Add a bow of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and a few Fresh Freesia InColor Jewels.

Special Notice

Turtle Friends Give It a Whirl

Here is another adorable Give It a Whirl card using the darling Turtle Friends bundle. This one uses the host Pattern Party paper. We will be doing this one in club, too. Come join us. Just please RSVP, so I have a kit for you. Kits for in person only.

Measurements:

Mango Melody: 1/2 sheet
Thick Basic White: 3 3/4" square
Basic White: scraps (scalloped circle), turtle
Pattern Play DSP (host) (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (green), 1 1/4" x 3 3/4" (stripe)

To Make This Card

Cut "whirly" base from "leafy" DSP using dies for this purpose, along with circle "window" also included!
Cut interactive "wheel" from Thick Basic White.
Place mini brad through the hole in the "whirly" base and into the "wheel". Open prongs, but not too tightly.
Place scallop circle around circle opening, hiding brad.
Line up the "creases" of the wheel in the window opening. Stamp images or sentiments of your choice in the 3 spots on the wheel. I stamped mine in Memento black, so I could color with Blends. "Give it a Whirl" to see how it looks!!
Stamp "turle" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of Basic White. Stamp the "shell detail" in Granny Apple Green ink, color the turtle with Lt Granny Apple Blend, and "tail" and "nails with the Dk Granny Apple Blend. Now, punch out with corresponding punch.
Attach stripe DSP to card front, as well as popped up "turtle.
Now you need to attach this to your card, using a variety of "dimensionals". Regular, Adhesive Strips, and Adhesive Sheets!! You want to raise up the entire piece so the "wheel" will turn, and the front will be "supported", but not so close to the wheel as it won't turn! I use only 1 layer of Dimensionals for mine, some demos use 2 - the choice is yours!
Now finish with scattered iridescent sequins and a 5mm googlie eye on the turtle.

Stitched Greenery meets Pierced Blooms Dies

You may have missed this GORGEOUS stand alone die, Stitched Garden. It's really lovely and amazing with the Pierced Blooms Dies. I saw a similar card made by Carole Payne and knew I had to try it. Love the Gingham DSP from the Pansy Petals DSP, now on sale!

Measurements:

Soft Succulent: 1/2 sheet, 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", 1 1/2" strip
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2" strip
Pale Papaya: scraps
Pansy Petals DSP (N): 2 1/2" x 4"

To Make This Card

Run the Basic White layer through Stitched Greenery Die.
Using he Pierced Blooms Dies, cut out 2 large White "flowers", 2 Soft Succulent "leaf sprigs", and 3 Papaya "flower centers".
Stamp sentiment in Soft Succulent ink onto piece of White and cut out with Pierced Blooms Label.
Wrap Soft Succulent ribbon around White piece and adhere to the back.
Layer Gingham DSP to Soft Succulent Layer and attach to card with Dimensionals.
Add sentiment to card as shown.
Arrange flowers onto card as shown.
Finish with InColor Jewel Centers.
