I have not done this fold in AGES!! And, it's so easy to do, (but not so easy to close back up! Just follow the DSP.) Thanks to inspiration from Julie Davison's Mom for the inspiration!! The possibilities are endless.
Measurements:
- So Saffron: 1/2 sheet, 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", 1 5/8" x 2 3/8"
- Butterfly Bijou DSP (N): 2 pcs 1 3/4" x 2 3/8" (mini butterflies), 2 pcs 1 3/4" x 2 3/8" (Bermuda Bay print), 1 medium die cut butterfly, 1 small die cut butterfly
- Basic Black: 2 1/8" x 2 5/8"
To Make This Card
- First, trim 1/16" from long edge of each base piece. This gives your card more "ease" when you fold and put it together.
- Score "lengthwise" piece at 2 3/4" from each end. Score "regular" half sheet at 2 1/8" from each end. Crease well with Bone Folder.
- Place Basic White piece to inside of card. Attach die cut butterfly of your choice.
- Fold up card, as if you were closing up a box. I folded up the bottom first, then the left side, then the top, and lastly the right side. Add DSP to "squares" as shown.
- Layer Basic White, Black and medium butterfly. Attach to card at upper LEFT corner with Tear Tape or Seal+.
- Finish with scattered Artistry Blooms Sequins.
