"No Waste" Framed Florets Card

A beautiful new Bundle is being released tomorrow, it's called Framed Florets, and it's just gorgeous, especially the OVAL dies!! I finally had a chance to play with it yesterday with Mom, in preparation for Club this Saturday. I will share the 5 cards we made over the next few days.  The neat thing, is its' versatility!  It can be used for the holidays, when paired with the Framed and Festive stamps, as well as year-round! So, enjoy, and stay tuned! This card is called a "No Waste" card by Susan Campfield, as the DSP is the entire card....no waste!

Measurements:

  • Framed Florets (N): 4" x 12", die cut flower
  • Balmy Blue: 4" x 5"
  • Night of Navy: 3" x 4 3/8"
  • Basic White: 4" x 5" (oval), 2 3/4" x 4 1/8" (inside)
To Make This Card:

  • Score DSP at 5 1/2", turn and score at 1".  Crease well along score lines, folding back the 1" piece.  Flip back and forth to decide which way you like best!
  • Adhere the 1" piece to "card"
  • Next, die cut the "fancy" oval from Balmy Blue.  You will only be using the outside of this, keep the center for another card!
  • Repeat with the Basic White, only this time you will keep the center oval, and save the outside for another project!
  • Attach the Balmy Blue "frame" to the card front.  Adhere the While Oval to the inside.
  • Die cut "flowers" from DSP.  Attach to Oval with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with 2021 InColor Opal Rounds!
  • To finish the inside, stamp sentiment in Night of Navy onto White piece.
  • Mount onto Night of Navy layer, and attach to inside of card, which will help give the card some "weight"
