I created this card after seeing the star dies layered on another project. I thought it was so pretty! So, I designed this card with that layered image as my focal point. I really like it.
Measurements:
- Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet
- Very Vanilla: 2 3/4" x 5 1/4", 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
- Shining Brightly DSP (N)(ret): 2 1/2" x 5" (boughs), 1 1/4" x 5" (stars)
- Gold Foil: 2 1/2" square
To Make this Card
- Fold Night of Navy card base in half. Trim off 1 1/4" from front flap. You can toss this piece.
- Attach Very Vanilla quarter piece to inside, the smaller piece to the front flap.
- Then, layer the "star" piece to the right inside, as shown. And, the "bough" piece to the front.
- Die cut the "speckled circle" die from the Gold Foil square.
- Then, match a Deckled Circle to the die cut circle and cut.
- Layer this circle to the card front. Take the center star that cuts from this die and add to the center of the circle with a Dimensional. Twisting it in a pleasing manner.
- Die cut a small, "square" star from scrap of Gold Foil.
- Attach this to the foil circle with a Mini Dimensional.
- Gold emboss sentiment onto scrap of Very Vanilla and die cut as desired. Finish with Gilded Gems.
