I am calling this fold a "Mini Z Fold" because the front flap only folds back part way, making only a small "z"! This one utilizes our new Poised Peony Stamp Set, paired with our awesome Everyday Details Dies! The DSP is our new Country Lace!
Measurements:
- Calypso Coral: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" (image, die cut), 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
- Country Lace DSP: 1 1/4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (Petal Pink Lace)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Calypso Coral card in half. Then, score front at 1 1/4". Fold back on score line creating a "mini Z".
- Stamp "medium peony" first in the upper left corner of White layer, as shown.
- Now, attach to inside.
- Adhere larger DSP piece to front, and smaller piece to "inside" over White layer.
- Die cut largest rectangle from Everyday Details Dies.
- Stamp largest "peony" in Memento black, leaving a little room at the bottom for sentiment. Note: The flower just fits!
- Color the image with Blends as shown.
- Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral ink.
- Stamp and color "peony bud" on lower right corner, right over DSP. Color like the main flower. Also color other "peony" that's on the inside.
- Fold back the "Z". I decided to stick mine down, but you don't have to.
- Then, attach "peony" piece on top of flap, as shown.
- Finish with Wink of Stella on the "flowers", and scatter a few retired Pastel Sequins.
