Snowflake Frame meets Peaceful Church

I just love this snowflake frame from the retiring Snowman Dies. I saw a card using the frame with the church from the Peace to You stamps. This is our interpretation of that card, using the beautiful Starry Sky color and coordinating InColor Ombre Glimmer Paper!

Measurements:  :  

• Starry Sky: 1/2 sheet, 
• InColor Glimmer Paper: 3 3/4" x 5"
• Basic White: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap

To Make This Card:

• Fold Starry Sky card base in half.
• Stamp "church" in Starry Sky ink onto piece of White, leaving an even border along top and both sides. Attach to folded card.
• Attach Foam Adhesive Strips along outside edge of White piece.
• Center "snowflake frame" die in center of glimmer paper and cut out. Attach to card over Adhesive Strips.
• Stamp sentiment in Starry Sky ink onto scrap of White.  Cut out with longer, narrow banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies.
• Cut off one end of "banner" and attach to card, flush with "frame" and Dimensional on "flagged end".
• Attach White piece to inside, add sentiment as desired in Starry Sky ink.
• Finish with Rhinestones.

Peace to You Faux Side Step

I love the simplicity of this stamp set! It makes it so easy to make clean & simple cards!  I saw this one somewhere and knew I had to try it!  Love the use of the new Distressed Gold Paper from the Annual Catalog! Use your Stamparatus to get a rich, deep color to the image!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 5 1/2" x 8", 3" x 6"
• Lights Aglow DSP (N):  2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (black)
• Very Vanilla: 2 1/2" x 4" (image), 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 7/8" x 5 1/4"
• Distressed Gold Paper (N): 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"

To Make This Card:

• Score Basic Black base along 8" side at 3" - 6" - 7".  Accordion fold as shown. Crease well with Bone Folder
• Attach 7/8" x 5 1/4" Vanilla piece to "bottom". Skip an area, and attach DSP piece to the next area.
• Now, take the Black 3" x 6" piece (step) and score along 6" side at 4 1/4". Crease well.
• Turn this over and add Tear & Tape to the lower back edges of both the top and the bottom. (you are on the wrong side).
• Remove the Tear & Tape covering on the "step" piece and place even with the lower edge of the front step of card base. Remove the other covering, fold the card, flat into place, and attach to the back of card. You can place this piece wherever you would like, left, right, or center.
• Now that this is in place, you can see how much space you have for your sentiment.  Stamp this there, now.
• Place the Vanilla piece for the image onto the Stamparatus. Stamp the image with Black Ink onto this piece.  Repeat stamping until the color is smooth and even.  Isn't it gorgeous!
• You will have to "fussy" cut this out.  You CAN use a paper trimmer if you are comfortable lining the stamped image onto it.
• Attach the Gold paper to the front of the "step".
• Attach the cut image over the Gold paper with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Festive Pearls as shown, or where desired.

Peace to You in a Gorgeous Frame

I love the simplicity of this stamp set!  Definitely a "Clean & Simple"I have to admit I CASE'd this card from someone, I just liked to total package.  The Merriest Frames from last year, I did have to review, again, but, the results are definitely worth it! And, the color, Blackberry Bliss, is just stunning!

Measurements:    

• Blackberry Bliss: 1/2 sheet, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (full quarter)
• Very Vanilla: 1/4 sheet (inside), 3 1/4" square (insert)
• Gold Foil: 1/4 sheet

To Make This Card:

• Run the quarter of Blackberry Bliss through Embossing folder. Note: this barely fits!
• Attach this embossed piece to folded Blackberry Bliss card 
• Emboss the Gold Foil piece with just the Embossing Folder. Now, run it through, again, with the "detail" die. (This does NOT fit in the folder.)
• Attach this to the card front over the embossed piece (you don't get the background dots, if you don't emboss the cardstock first.  Your choice!
• Stamp the "church" in Blackberry Bliss onto the square of Vanilla cardstock.  Cut out with the included Stitched Rectangle Die, centering the part you would like to have as your focal point!
• Attach to center of Foil piece.
• Finish with Vanilla piece inside, and Gold Embossed sentiment.  
• This is so beautiful, I didn't add any other embellishments!
