Overlapping Fun Fold

I never cease to be amazed! After 35+ years stamping, I can still find a new fold!! This one was shared by Lynn Dunn, and I just LOVE it! So many of our papers would be perfect for this fold, as it displays BOTH sides!! You can chop a 12x12 fav, or use 6x6, either one will work! This one is a copy of her creation! It uses the new Share a Milkshake bundle and the Dandy Designs FREE SAB (with a qualifying order) DSP, and a new Embossing folder to be released March 1st - which is perfect with the Milkshake bundle - especially the Ice Cream Cone! Totally Awesome!!!

Measurements:

Petal Pink : 2 pcs 1/4 sheet each, scraps
Dandy Designs DSP (N)(SAB): 5 1/2" square. 5/8" strip
Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 1/2" x 4", scrap
Sweet Sorbet: scraps
Early Espresso: scraps
Crumb Cake: scraps
Fresh Freesia: scraps

To Make This Card:

Score DSP square at 1 3/4" crease. Center onto one , 1/4 base and adhere.
Run one white layer through an Embossing Folder. Note: Mine is from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders to be released March 1 - stay tuned. These are awesome!
Fold the other 1/4 sheet of Petal Pink in half. Attach the embossing piece to the front, and the smooth piece to the inside. Open DSP, center and adhere to card as shown above.
Next, decorate the front! I used the Share a Milkshake dies...stamping where necessary. Assemble sundaes, and arrange sentiment, scrap of DSP, spoon, and sundaes onto mini card front.
Finish with strip of DSP on inside, along with sentiment, and scattered Opaque Adhesive Backed Dots.

Corner Tuck Adorable Owls

Who would have thought of making a blue owl?! But it works! I love this card!! Cute stamp, awesome DSP, and love the fold!

Measurements:

Balmy Blue: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTWISE
Coastal Cabana: 3 1/8" square (mounting), 2 5/8" square (corner layer)
Dandy Designs DSP (N)(SAB): Multi Blue Squares - 1" x 4 1/4", 2 3/8" square (corner layer), Blue Grid - 3 7/8" x 5"
Basic White: 2 7/8" square (stamped), 3" x 4 1/4" (die cut rectangle)

To Make This Card:

Fold Balmy Blue card in half. Remove 3" from front of card.
Attach DSP strip to left side of front of card. Wrap ribbon around the DSP and tie in a knot.
Stamp "owl" onto White, 2 7/8" square. Color with Blends as shown. (Love, love, love the blues on the owl!)
Mount this piece onto coordinating Coastal Cabana piece. Set aside for now.
Take the other Coastal Cabana piece and cut in half diagonally. You will use one of these for this card, save the other piece for another. Repeat for the square of MultiBlue DSP. Mount the 2 pieces together.
Attach the Blue Grid DSP to the inside of the card.
Die cut Stitched Rectangle from the White piece. Attach to inside of card.
Next, add layered triangle to upper Right corner with 1/8" of Tear n Tape. (cut the 1/4" in half).
Place Dimensionals onto wrong side of "owl" piece.
Tuck this piece under the corner triangle and center over all, attaching to front flap and hiding White piece underneath.
Stamp desired sentiment in Balmy Blue ink.
Finish with new, Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
