Fractured Latte Love

I'm still lovin' those fractured cards! This one uses the new Latte Love bundle in the Online Exclusives as well as the coordinating DSP!  Aren't the soft colors just gorgeous!

Measurements:  

• Pecan Pie: 1/2 sheet, 4 strips 1/4" x 4", scraps
• A Little Latte DSP (N) (OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (pink & brown swirl)), 1/2" x 4" (inside), cup die cut
• Petal PInk: 2 3/4" square
• Basic White: 2 1/4" square, 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card:

• Die cut 2" stitched square from Stylish Shapes dies from White piece.  Also cut a 2 3/8" stitched square as well from Petal PInk.  Layer together.
• Center this square to Swirl DSP. DO NOT ADHERE TO FRONT OF CARD, YET.
• Next, take one 1/4" Pecan Pie strip and lay from corner of square, along the cut edge of the square, and off the DSP layer. 
• Then, lay the next strip, butting the end to the previously laid strip, and laying this one also along cut edge and off the DSP.  Repeat until all 4 layers are done.
• Next, trim off the strips so that they are even with the DSP.
• NOW, adhere the DSP layer to the folded Pecan Pie card.
• Die cut one "cup" from the A Latte Love DSP. Attach to center of square layers with Dimensionals.
• Add a "knot" of Pecan Pie ribbon, and a little Wink of Stella to the design on the cup!
• FInish with White layer, and strip of DSP to the inside of card.

Latte Love Flip Up Fold

 I saw this card and thought, how cool and simple is that! This version uses the new Online Exclusive Latte Love, but I want to try it using different stamps and DSP!! It also uses the awesome, new Everyday Details Dies - that ARE carrying over!!!

Measurements:  

• Early Espresso: 1/4 sheet, 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", scraps
• Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"  (inside), 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" (label)
• Pecan Pie: 1 1/4" x 2 3/4", scrap
• Lost Lagoon: scrap
• Petal Pink: scrap
• A Latte Love (N) (OE): 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" (Espresso swirl)

To Make This Card:

• Score the Early Espresso "strip" at 1/2". Crease well.
• Wrap and adhere to top of White layer as shown.  I used Tear n Tape!
• Now, you can attach this to the Early Espresso base.
• Attach DSP to front strip.
• Die cut While "label" from Everyday Details Dies. Center and attach to front strip as shown.
  
• Next, die cut 3 small "cups" from 3 different colors of cardstock.  Also die cut the "coffee" from Early Espresso. Add one "coffee" piece to each cup. Set aside.
• Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso onto scrap of Pecan Pie. Die cut with Stitched Rectangle.
• Now, stamp sentiment in Early Espresso onto upper left corner of "label". (You might want to consider doing this first, before you attach it!)
• Then, select 2 "cups" - going 2 different directions, and attach opposite the sentiment, to the "label".
• Then, open the flap and center the Pecan Pie message so it lies under the flap, along with the other "cup" of your choosing.
• Finish with new, scattered Swirled Dots.

Fluffy Friends Rocker Card

These Rocker Cards are so much fun!!  I saw this one with one of my favorite bundles in the Online Exclusives, Fluffy Friends!  I used the dimensions from the Latte Love card as a guide to create this one.  I just LOVE it!!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 5 3/4" square (base), 3 1/2" square (addition), 5/8" strip
• Basic White: 5 1/4" square (inside - need only 1/2), 3 1/8" square (addition), 1/2" strip
• Most Adored DSP (SAB) (ret): 5 1/4" square (need only 1/2) (red & white hearts)
• Bee Mine DSP (opt): fussy cut honey jar

To Make This Card:

• Run largest Basic Black square with 2nd from largest Deckled Circle Die. Fold in half. Crease well.  Set aside.
• Run largest White square with 3rd from largest Deckled Circle Die.  Cut in half.  Save the other half for another card, or share with a friend!  Adhere inside card.
• Run the Heart DSP also with the 3rd from the largest Deckled Circle Die.  Also cut this piece in half, keeping in mind the direction of the hearts! This directional piece is a little tough to save a reuse!  Adhere this piece to the front of card.
• Now for the added piece.  Die cut the other Basic Black square from the 7th from the smallest die. Set aside.
• Stamp the cute "bear" in Memento Black ink onto 3 1/8" square of White. Die cut with the 6th from the smallest die. Color with Blends and adhere to the Basic Black layer.
• I attached this to the "card base", now. You will center it over the folded, larger circle, and no higher than the width of an envelope! Or, 4 1/4" tall.  You might want to attach this to your card base with Tear n Tape.
• Next, stamp the sentiment in black onto strip of white.  I used a sentiment from the Bee Mine Valentine stamp set! I cut the ends to follow the curves (kind of) of the base.  Mount to strip of Basic Black, and trim the same. I attached this to the card front with Dimensionals.
• Lastly, I die cut a "bee hive" from Daffodil Delight.  Stamped 2 "bees" onto it and added to the "additional" circles.
• Finish inside with some "bees" stamped in the "corners.  I also die cut a cute jar of "honey" from the Bee Mine DSP.
• Finish the outside with Daffodil Glossy Dots.

Zinnia Cut and Flip Card

 The new, Online Exclusive bundle, Simply Zinnia is just awesome! I don't think we've ever had a Zinnia stamp set/bundle in the past! This simple card just uses the cheerful Flowering Zinnias DSP, and the Cut and Flip Fold that I hadn't used in a while!  I just love it!  

Measurements:  

• Blackberry Bliss: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE,  scrap
• Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"  (inside)
• Highland Heather: 3" x 4 1/2" (inside)
• Flowering Zinnias (N) (OE): 2 1/2" x 4" (plaid), 2 1/2" x 4" (floral border), 

To Make This Card:

• Fold Blackberry Bliss card base in half.  Cut off 2 3/4" from the front flap, set aside to be used later!
• Attach "plaid" DSP to remaining front flap
• Run the inside, White piece through the new, Online Exclusive Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to the inside of card base.
• Attach the "Zinnia floral" to the piece your removed. 
• Now, you can add this to your card front, by attaching only the top half to the top piece of your card. Isn't that neat! I love it when you can remove a piece and still use it on your card!
• Line up the Highland Heather piece behind the Flipped piece, so that there is a nice 1/8" showing around the top flap, then adhere to INSIDE of card.
• Lastly, heat emboss a sentiment of your choice in White onto a scrap of Blackberry Bliss.  Die cut with Nested Essentials dies.
• Finish with a few scattered Brass Butterflies.
