Pool Party Jar of Joy

My Senior Center gals loved the Jar of Joy card that I did earlier this month, so I decided to try another one with them! This one is in a "non-traditional" color of Pool Party! But, I love it just the same. This is a version of one I saw. It uses the Nests of Winter DSP, still in the Annual Catalog, along with the jar with the cute snowman! I just love it! I think they will, too!

Measurements:

Gray Granite 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE,scrap
Nests of Winter DSP: 4" x 5 1/4" (Pool Party diagonal print); 2 7/8" x 4 1/4" (snowflakes)
Basic White: 3 1/8" x 4 1/2" (front), 4" x 5 1/4" (inside) 2 1/4" square (jar), 1/2" x 4" (sentiment)

To Make this Card:

Adhere Pool Party print to folded Gray Granite card base.
Attach "snowflakes" to White layer, and then add this to card front with squares of Foam Adhesive.
Stamp "jar" in Gray Granite onto square of White. Stamp "snowman" in black, and scarf in Coastal Cabana. The "snow" is stamped off Coastal Cabana, and nose is colored with an orange Blend.
Now, punch out with corresponding Sweet Jar punch. Punch "lid" from scrap of Gray Granite. And, attach to "jar".
Stamp sentiment in Gray Granite onto strip of White. Add to card front over layer, as shown.
Add "jar" to card layer with Dimensionals.
Finish inside with White layer. I also stamped a little snowman inside, if desired.
Finish the outside with some Wink of Stella on the "snow" under the "snowman", and scattered Iridescent Faceted Gems.

Gathering Moments Clean & Simple Card

I just LOVE this DSP - Gathering Together in the Online Store! I was needing an idea for my Senior Center class, and found this idea by Akiko Sudano! It is just stunning in person! I love the Basic Beige neutral paired with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso, with that subtle touch of gold. Just beautiful

Measurements:

Cajun Craze: 1/2 sheet
Early Espresso: 3 3/4" x 5"
Basic Beige: 3 3/4" x 5" (inside), 1" x 4 7/8", scrap (label), scraps (images)
Gathering Together DSP (N) (MC): 2 5/8" x 4 7/8" (beige background)

To Make this Card:

Run 1" Basic Beige strip through the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere to Early Espresso piece, with narrow 1/16" border. As shown. Add DSP to the right, so the edges touch.
Attach to folded Cajun Craze base with pieces of Foam Adhesive Sheet.
Stamp "leaf" in Crushed Curry, and "acorn" in Early Espresso ink. Die cut with corresponding die.
Die cut "label" using the Textured Notes dies.
Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
Add "label" to card front with Dimensionals.
Add die cut images to lower left corner. Also, add bow of Early Espresso Linen Thread.
Finish inside with Basic Beige layer. Stamp small images in upper corner, if desired.
Finish front with scattered Cajun Craze and Gold Dots.

Amber Autumn Clean & Simple

I love the use of the Autumn Toile DSP with this clean & simple card. It uses one of the geometric prints for the base. and a popped up panel of 2 other prints for the focal point of the pumpkins!

Measurements:

Early Espresso: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (layer)
Autumn Toile DSP (N) (MC): 4" x 5 1/4" (Espresso check); 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" (pumpkin patch); 7/8" x 4 5/8" (directional stripe)
Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside); scrap

To Make this Card:

Adhere quarter sheet of DSP to folded Early Espresso card base.
Adhere 2 other layers of DSP to other Early Espresso layer.
Wrap Early Espresso Linen Thread around this piece over area where 2 pieces meet. Tie in a knot. Then, add to card front with Dimensionals.
Stamp image in Early Espresso ink. Color with Blends.

Amber Autumn Double Gate Fold

I just love this DSP paired with its' coordinating stamp set - Amber Autumn! This lovely card is also paired with the Branching Out Dies. I also love the colors used - Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla. Classic fold with classic results!

Measurements:

Pecan Pie: 5 1/2" x 11" (base), 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" (die cut)
Mossy Meadow: 3 1/4" x 5 3/8" (inside base), 2 pcs @ 1 1/2" x 5 3/8" (inside flaps), 2 pcs @ 1 7/8" x 5 3/8" (front flaps), 2 3/8" x 3 3/4" (die cut)
Autumn Toile DSP (N) (MC): 2 pcs @ 1 3/8" x 5 1/4", 2 pcs @ 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" (pumpkin patch)
Very Vanilla: 3 1/8" x 5 1/4" (inside), 2" x 3 1/4" (die cut), scrap (image)

To Make this Card:

Score base at 2" and 3 3/4" from each end. Accordion (double gate) fold. Crease well.
Layout Mossy Meadow and DSP layers for flaps, as well as inside center. Adhere.
Die cut 3 layers from the Branching Out Dies. Layer together.
Stamp image in Early Espresso ink. Color with Blends as shown. Die cut with corresponding die.
Adhere to die cut layers. Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
Adhere layers to front of card. LEFT side only!
Stamp inside with desired sentiment in Early Espresso.
Finish outside with scattered Streaked Dots.
