I had totally forgotten about this Fun Fold, which Mom & I have always called an "arm" card! So, this is my, original, take on the fast, fun fold! That darling Male Snail is fussy cut from the DSP, I just love him!! I am hoping to put together either a packet or TO GO kit with these "extra" Fun Folds that I did NOT do in class. Stay tuned!!
Measurements:
- Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 2 pcs - 2 1/2" x 2 3/4",
- Basic White: 2" x 2 1/8", 3 3/4" square, 4" x 5 1/4"
- Snail Mail DSP (N): 3 5/8" square, 1" x 3", Male Snail die cut, sm envelopes die cut
To Make This Card
- Fold Bermuda Bay card in half. Trim 1 1 1/2" from front of card. SAVE THIS STRIP WE WILL USE IT LATER!
- Attach White Layer and DSP to front of card.
- Removef 1/4" from the strip of Bermuda Bay you just removed. Score at 1/2". Crease well. Attach Tear Tape or Seal+ to this 1/2" piece and adhere to the wrong side of the Basic White piece that goes inside. Now attach this White layer to the inside of card. And attach narrow DSP piece to "arm".
- Cut 2 "postage" squares from Bermuda Bay. Layer Basic White "square on top. Remember that this is not "square"!
- Fussy cut 1 "Male Snail" and several "envelopes" from DSP. Attach Snail to "square" and scatter "envelopes" inside.
- Lay the "arm" into position. Now, lay your "square" down onto your card, centering it on the card front. Make a light pencil mark on the "arm" where the square begins. Remove "square. And place Tear Tape, or Seal + on the "arm" from the outside edge to the pencil mark.
- Adhere the "square over the "arm" and into place. Open arm, and place the other Bermuda Bay square over original, matching edges.
- Your done! Easy Peasy!!
