I saw this darling snowman made with the Ringed with Nature bundle and wanted to give it a try. It took a bit, but I'm satisfied with the results! It uses the Hybrid EF and Dies as well as the Rings of Love FREE SAB DSP. I am pleased with my results!
Measurements:
- Mint Macaron: 7" x 8 1/2"
- Rings of Love DSP SAB (N): 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
- Crumb Cake: 1/2 sheet (for outside rings)
- Very Vanilla: 1/4 sheet (for inside rings)
- Early Espresso: scrap
- Pumpkin Pie: scrap
To Make This Card:
- Score slimline base at 3 1/2". Attach DSP to this folded Mint Macaron card.
- Place "rings" die onto "right side" of Embossing Folder. Add Crumb Cake piece, close folder and cut and emboss all the "outside" rings. Note: it is just easiest to cut all 5 rings, and decide what you want to use for this project and save the others for later.
- Select which 3 rings you would like to use for your card. Set aside.
- Next, stamp 3 "rings"in Crumb Cake onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut out with the 3 corrodinating inside dies that match the 3 you have chosen. These are NOT embossed, just stamped and die cut. So much easier!
- Assemble the 3 "rings" together. Set aside.
- Stamp sentiment onto scrap of Crumb Cake. Cut out with "oval" from the Beautiful Shapes dies.
- Add label to bottom of card front.
- Assemble "rings" into stacked "snowman" as shown.
- Cut 2 "sprigs" from Early Espresso. Remove leaves, and attach remaining "twigs" to "snowman" for "arms".
- Finish with Black Matt Dots for eyes, coordinating ribbon for "scarf", and fussy cut "carrot" nose from scrap of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Oh, and "buttons" of Solid Faceted Gems.
- I also added a couple Rustic Metallic Dots to the label.
