So, I FINALLY spent a little time with my Mom stamping. We only made 2 cards, but it is a start! Covid this time really has me down. Mostly a nagging cough and general lethargy. We needed to create cards for my class Monday at Garner. I just love those gals! So, we created this card using the Free SAB DSP - Rings of Love! This DOES coordinate with the Ringed with Nature Blundle in the mini catalog, but it also stands alone! It's really beautiful. We thought this would also make a nice masculine card!
Measurements:
- Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet, 2 5/8" x 4"
- Soft Suede: 2 5/8" x 4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Rings of Love DSP (SAB): 4" x 5 1/4", 2" x 3 3/8", 1/2" strip (birds)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Night of Navy card in half.
- Trim 1 1/2" from quarter piece of DSP. Attach the blue side of this piece to the front of card with 1/8" showing. Flip over the remaining piece, butt up the edges together and adhere to card front with Bird-side up.
- Next, cut out 2nd smallest scallop rectangle from the Soft Suede piece. Mount onto Navy layer and add remaining "bird" piece on top. Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
- Add White piece to the inside and decorate with 1/2" strip of DSP.
- FInish outside with a knot of So Saffron ribbon (ret).
