This Clean & Simple card utilizes the snowflake from the Twinkling Lights Dies. I love the pierced effect it creates, and the Distressed Gold paper is just gorgeous from it! Finish the card with the now, retired Lights Aglow DSP, and you have an awesome card!
Measurements: :
- Basic Black: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/4' Square
- Lights Aglow (ret): 2 3/4" x 5 1/4", 1 3/8" x 5 1/4" (black stars), 3" square (black "bokeh")
- Very Vanilla: 2 5/8" x 5 1/4"
- Distressed Gold paper: 3 1/4" square
To Make This Card:
- Fold Basic Black card base in half. Trim 1 1/4" from front flap. Set aside, you will be using this piece for the "arm".
- Attach largest DSP piece to front of card.
- Attach Black "bokeh" DSP piece to Black square.
- Die cut "snowflake" from Distressed Gold paper. Attach to square with Dimensionals.
- Now, take the strip you removed and trim, if desired or leave it full, to 4". Score 3 1/2" from one end. Crease well.
- Attach this "arm" to strip of DSP, score line even with cut edge of DSP, and attach to card as shown.
- Fold "arm" into place over front of card. Center "square" with "snowflake" into place, and attach to "arm".
- Finish by adding Vanilla piece to inside, and Gold Gilded Gems to Snowflake.
