I have always loved this simple fold! No clue what it's called, or what I've called it in the past! What I do know, is I like the use of the individual punched flowers and leaves, rather than the full stamped greenery that shows you where to put the flowers! Paired with the Country Gingham DSP, new 3D Basics Embossing Folders, and Scalloped Contour dies...I just love it!
Measurements:
- Petal Pink: 1/4 sheet, 3" x 5", 2 3/4" x 4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 4", scraps
- Country Gingham DSP (N): 2 3/4" x 4"
To Make This Card:
- Score "lift panel" at 3/4".
- Attach DSP to large area.
- Place Tear n Tape on flap, and attach to 1/4 sheet base, with fold even with the cut edge of base.
- Run White inside layer through Cross-Hatch 3D Basic Embossing Folder. Attach to "base, over 3/4" extension.
- Die cut stitched scallop from Scalloped Contour Dies. Attach to corresponding Petal Pink layer.
- Stamp "detail" of flowers, twice, in Calypso Coral. Add "solid" Petal Pink on top. Now punch both batches of flowers.
- Next, stamp 4-5 "detail leaves" in Shaded Spruce. Add "solid", stamped off Shaded Spruce on top. Punch out with corresponding punch.
- Shape 2 large flowers with stylus from the Take Your Pick Tool, and place onto White layer.
- Shape 4 leaves (I drew a "vein" with a stylus). Add these by flowers.
- Now, stamp "filler leaves" between the 2 large flowers, with a little space in between. Add smallest flower in between.
- Add this piece to "Flap". Note: Make sure you only put adhesive on 1/2 of the layer!
- Finish with Iridescent Pearls for the flower centers and a few scattered around.
