Good Morning, Stampin' Friends! I'm b-a-c-k! It felt good to be back in my Stamp Studio this week creating cards for my upcoming Stamp Club Gathering this Saturday! There is still a lot to do with Mom's estate, but it's time to get moving on as well.
So, I am jumping back into things by playing with some new products from the new Annual Catalog! This sample utilizes the new Cheerful Daisies Bundle, including the Fresh as a Daisy DSP in a fun fold that I did in my last class! They loved it, so that I needed to try it, again! The Cheerful Daisies Dies are SO VERSATILE! There are so many ways to utilize up to 3 layers (as I've done here) to create really custom flowers! I hope you'll give this one a try!
Measurements:
- Boho Blue (N): 5 1/2" x 11", scraps
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scraps
- Night of Navy: 3" squareC
- Countryside Inn DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 3 1/8" x 5 1/4" (I used the same pattern and flipped one piece over!
- Score Boho Blue base at 3 3/8" from each end. Lightly crease, for now.
- Next, make a pencil mark down 1 3/4" from the top edge on either end of the card base.
- Mark in 1" along the bottom edge.
- Draw a line from the 1" mark at the bottom up to the 1 3/4" pencil mark, and from the crease to the pencil mark. Cut along the pencil marks. (or you can just line up the pencil mark and cut.
- Mark and cut front DSP using the same measurements. If using the same piece of DSP for both sides like I did, be sure to flip one layer over!
- Adhere layers to corresponding front panels.
- Run White, inside piece through the new Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. Adhere to inside of card base. (You will probably want to add a small piece, or die cut piece of "smooth" Basic White to the inside for your message.
- Next, cut the 3-flower "daisies" from White (you'll cut this apart, use the largest flower, and save the other 2 flowers for the inside, or another project).
- Cut large "flower base" and "detail top flower" from Boho Blue.
- Assemble all these pieces together to create one complete flower!
- Attach to Navy circle cut from Stylish Shapes Dies.
- Add circle to front flap of card.
- Top help keep card closed, attach a small, clear Velcro dot.
- Finish with new 2023-2025 InColor Dots.
