This card is absolutely gorgeous. I copied it from one that I saw somewhere! However, you need to do a bit of fussy cutting. Lovely sample, but I won't put my class attendees through all that! So enjoy! And, give it a try to fussy cut! I just LOVE the colors of this Suite!
Measurements:
- Flirty Flamingo: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Summer Splash (N): 3" x 9"
- Unbounded Beauty DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (pink & purple watercolor), 2 pcs @2 3/4" x 4" (pink & white print), 2 3/4"" square (floral print), floral print scraps to fussy cut flowers
- Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" square
To Make This Card:
- Fold Flirty Flamingo base in half, and then fold the front back on itself. Crease well.
- Score the Summer Splash Z fold piece at 3"- 6". Accordion fold into a "Z". Crease well. Set aside.
- Attach Watercolor DSP piece to "inside" of main card.
- Attach pink & white prink DSP piece to front and middle flaps.
- Next, fussy cut trio of flowers from floral print. Also fussy cut one single flower.
- Attach the single flower to lower right corner of White layer. Trim edges even with cut edges of White layer.
- Stamp desired sentiment in Summer Splash ink.
- For this piece, I stamped the sentiment in Summer Splash FIRST.
- Then, take the trio of flowers and adhere to the other White layer, in the upper left corner, as shown, missing the stamped sentiment.. Trim even with the cut edges of this White layer, as well.
- Now, adhere them to the Summer Splash Z fold as shown, including the DSP in the middle section! Crease well.
- Now you're ready to attach the Z folds together.
- Center the "Z" on the inside, back piece and attach. Close, and add adhesive to half of the front of the "Z" and attach to the front flap, creating the "double "Z" fold.
- Finish with a couple scattered Summer Splash Shimmer Gems.
