I created this fun, summer card for my gals at the Senior Center! As you know, I take this opportunity to use up some of my retired items, both products and stamps! I just loved the Watercolor Watermelon set, from SAB a few years back, and hung on to it to use some summer! Perhaps, you have it, too! Anyway, it was a hit in class!
Measurements:
- Garden Green: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scraps
- Real Red: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
- Pattern Party: 1 5/8" x 5 1/4" (black & white gingham), 1/2" x 5 1/4"
To Make This Card:
- Attach DSP to left side of folded Garden Green card base.
- Stamp 2 "watermelon slices" onto scrap of White. You'll have to fussy cut these out, which is really pretty easy.
- Stamp sentiment in Memento Black onto bottom of smaller White piece.
- Next, wrap ribbon around White piece and tie in a knot.
- Add "watermelon slices above, as shown, then attach this piece to Real Red layer.
- Then, attach this to the front with Dimensionals.
- Attach White piece and DSP strip to inside.
- Finish with scattered Matte Black Dots.
