Here is another card that combines a Book Binder Card and a Z Fold Card! Karen TItus came up with this version that uses a scenic sheet of DSP from the Lily Pond Lane DSP. She calls it a 1-2-3 Book Binder/Z fold card. Why? Because she cuts the 6" of DSP into 3 pieces that are 1" - 2" - and the focal point of 3"!! Too fun! Of course, you have to trim down your DSP to 4" first! What's the difference? The size of the DSP on the right, inside! Give either version of this fun, easy card a try!!
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, scrap
- Pretty in Pink (N): 3 1/4" x 4 1/4", scrap
- Lily Pond Lane DSP (N): 4" x 6" scene
To Make This Card:
- Fold White card base in half. Score front at 2 1/8" - 4 1/4". Crease well.
- Place Tear n Tape on the 1 1/4" area, near crease. Press together creating a Book Binding Fun Fold.
- Take the Scenic DSP and cut it at 1" - 2" - 3". Planning ahead so your focal point is the 3". It really helps if the back side of the DSP coordinates to finish off the card!!
- Next attach the 1" strip to the left side of the card over the "binding". Then, attach the 2" strip to the "inside" right of the card.
- Now, take the Pretty in Pink panel and attach the "focal point" DSP. Attach this piece to "Z" part of the card, lining up the left, top & bottom sides.
- To create the cute little tag, die cut a Pretty in Pink circle and a designer tag in white from the Unbounded Love Dies. Stamp sentiment of your choice onto "designer tag". Mount together and attach to card with Dimensional.
- Stamp sentiment in Pretty in Pink on the inside.
