Fall Translucent Florals

I created this card for my classes at the Senior Center! I just love the new Translucent Florals, but it's fall, and I wanted to try it using fall colors! This one uses the gorgeous Naturally Gilded DSP from the Online Exclusives along with our new, Deckled Circles, and label die from the Wonderful Thoughts! This one is just gorgeous IRL!

Measurements:

Cajun Craze: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/2" square, scrap
Naturally guilded DSP (OE): 4" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 4"
Very Vanilla: 3 1/4" square, 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap

To Make This Card:

Adhere DSP to folded Cajun Craze card.
Add Vanilla quarter and DSP strip to inside, as shown.
Stamp "flower" in Cajun Craze, and "leaves" in Old Olive, as shown, onto Vanilla square.
Center floral image and cut from largest Stitched Circle from the Stylish Shapes.
Attach Vanilla circle to Cajun Craze Deckled circle a little larger than Stitched Circle.
Add to card with Dimensionals.
Stamp desired sentiment in Cajun Craze, and die cut with desired die. I used the neat label from the Wonderful Thoughts Dies.
Finish with Gold & Vanilla ribbon and Brushed Metallic Dots.

Translucent Floral Fractured Card

This card utilizes all of my favs...Translucent Floral Bundle, Delightful Floral DSP, and the Fractured Card Technique. This is a "Becky Original"! I just LOVE how it turned out!

Measurements:

Berry Burst: 1/2 sheet, scraps
Delightful Floral DSP (N) (OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (sm floral), 1/2" x 4" (inside)
Bubble Bath (N): 4 strips 1/4" x 4", scraps
Basic White: 2 1/2" square, 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap

To Make This Card:

Die cut 2" stitched square from Stylish Shapes dies from White piece.
Center White square to the DSP. DO NOT ADHERE TO FRONT OF CARD, YET.
Next, take one 1/4" Bubble Bath strip and lay from corner of square, along the cut edge of the square, and off the DSP layer.
Then, lay the next strip, butting the end to the previously laid strip, and laying this one also along cut edge and off the DSP. Repeat until all 4 layers are done.
Next, trim off the strips so that they are even with the DSP.
NOW, adhere the DSP layer to the folded Berry Burst card.
Stamp medium flower in Berry Burst onto scrap of White. Die cut with coordinating die.
Stamp 2 leaves by inking first in Lemon Lime Twist, then adding a little Pretty Peacock with a Sponge Dauber to the base (to ressemble the leaves in the DSP). Also, die cut with corresponding dies.
Add Berry Burst flower to White square on front with Dimensionals. Add leaves, but tucking underneath flower.
Add a "bow", by coloring narrow, White seam binding with Lt Berry Burst Blend.
FInish with White layer, and strip of DSP to the inside of card, and scattered Tinsel Gems 4 to the front.

Translucent Florals Clean and Simple Card

Patty Bennett created a beautiful series of cards using our new, Online Exclusive DSP - Delightful Florals - that coordinates with the Translucent Florals Bundle in the new, mini catalog! She also makes use of the interesting shape from the Nested Essentials Dies along with a long sentiment. This is my version that we will be making at my Senior Center class tomorrow!

Measurements:

Lemon Lime Twist (ret): 1/2 sheet,
Pretty Peacock (ret): 2 3/4" x 4 3/4"
Delightful Floral (OE): 3" x 5 1/4" (green), 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" (floral)
Basic White: 2" x 4 1/4" (label), 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scraps

To Make This Card:

Fold Lemon Lime Twist base in half. Crease well. Then, trim away 1" from front flap. You can toss this piece.
Attach Green Floral piece to front flap.
Add White, inside piece to the inside of card. Attach 1 1/4" floral strip to the right side.
Die cut the larger (but not the largest) Nested Essentials Die shown in the image above from Pretty Peacock. Cut a smaller one from White. Assemble together. Set aside.
Stamp larger flower in Berry Burst ink onto scrap of White. I also added a stamped center in the same color. Die cut with coordinating die.
Ink up double "leaves" in Lemon Lime Twist ink. Sponge a little Pretty Peacock into onto the base of the "leaves" with a Sponge Dauber. (Pretty cool, huh! It matches the paper!) Also, die cut this image from the coordinating die.
Arrange "flower" and "leaves" onto labels, as shown. Stamp desired sentiment below die cuts in Pretty Peacock.
Attach label piece to front of card with Dimensional. Be sure to also pop up/support the flower as well!
Finish with Tinsel Gems 4.
