These Bay Window cards are so much fun! Once I started creating, I just kept going! I was inspired by a sample I saw somewhere, but this is my take on it. Sadly, no stamping, but a lot of fun die cutting! This is the card I demonstrated on my video.
Measurements:
- Mint Macaron: 4 1/4" x 11" (cut LENGTHWISE)
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Whimsy & Wonder DSP: 2 pcs @ 1 1/4" x 4" (trees), 1 pc @ 1 1/2" x 4" (mint-center), 2 pcs @ 1/4" x 4" (hologram stripe)
To Make This Card
- Score Mint Macaron base at 3/8" - 1 7/8" - 3 5/8" - 5 1/8" - 5 1/2". Fold card in half. Beginning at the outside cut edge, fold 3/8" score line up ("valley"), the next 2 crease as ("mountains"), and the last little bit fold up ("valley"). Or, look a pix above. Crease well.
- Attach White layer to the inside of your card.
- Place Tear Tape on the inside of the 1/4" by the fold. Attach this area to the card, like a Book Binder card.
- Adhere narrow DSP strips first, then match up the 3 panels, as shown. Or, work your way across the card.
- Cut a large and medium tree from the DSP.
- Attach the large tree to the center "panel" with the right corner hanging over.
- Cut an "open" tree from Silver Foil. Attach it to the card with Mini Dimensionals. With the left corner hanging over.
- Cut 2 "stick trees" from Silver Foil. Attach to inside of card.
- For the card "support" attach medium die cut tree to inside of card with Mini Dimensionals along the right edge.
- FInish with Rhinestones as "stars" on the tree.
