Clean & Simple Eden's Garden

I discovered a cool way to use a solid insert in the center of the "wreath" dies.  Cut the die a 2nd time in a solid color, and reinsert it into the "frame" "mosaic-style". Better than "fussy cutting" around the die, or using a rectangle with straight edges!  I love the simplicity and elegance of this card!

Measurements:

  • Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet, 1/4 sheet
  • Ever Eden DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White: 2" x 3 1/2", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
  • Gold Foil: 2" x 3 1/2"
To Make This Card:

  • Fold Evening Evergreen card in half and attach DSP.
  • Cut large "wreath" from quarter sheet of Evening Evergreen. Discard center scrap. Attach to card front.
  • Cut smaller "wreath" from Gold Foil. Discard center scrap and use for another project. Attach this inside the large "wreath".
  • Cut smaller "wreath", or at the very least the center of the small "wreath" from Basic White. You only need the center from this.  Attach adhesive to the back, and insert it in the center of the gold "wreath" so you can now stamp a sentiment.
  • Stamp sentiment in Evening Evergreen.
  • Finish with a Basic White piece inside.
