Cottage Wreath Split Front Card

I just love the Distinctive details of this Cottage Wreath.  I haven't had time to play with it, yet! Mom and I created this card for our Garner class this week.  I loved it so much, that I decided to do it in my Monthly Stamp Class as well!  There are so many fun details.  The retiring Painted Christmas DSP, Wintry 3D Embossing folder, and all the dies from the Cottage Wreath bundle make this easy fun fold a possibility! P.S. this is a great investment, as the Cottage Wreath Bundle IS carrying over!!

Measurements:

  • Cherry Cobbler: 1/2 sheet, scrap
  • Painted Christmas: 2 pcs @ 1 1/8" x 4", 1/2" x 2 7/8" strip (inside)
  • Evening Evergreen: 2 7/8" x 4", scraps
  • Basic White: 2 7/8" x4" (inside), 3" square (wreath), scrap
  • Red Glimmer Paper (N) (retiring): scrap
To Make This Card:

  • Fold Cherry Cobbler card base in half. Cut from bottom edge to crease at 1 1/4" from each side of front of card.
  • Adhere each of these outside "flaps" to back of card with adhesive or Tear n Tape.
  • Next, attach DSP to either side.
  • Run Evening Evergreen piece through "Boughs" Embossing Folder.  Attach to front "flap".
  • Stamp "wreath" in Garden Green onto square of White.  Cut out with corresponding die. Attach to front flap with Dimensionals.  Leaving room for sentiment, if desired.
  • Now, die cut 2 "boughs" from scraps of Evening Evergreen, and a "bow" from Red Glimmer paper.
  • Add "boughs", flat, to "wreath", and "bow" with a mini stampin' dimensional.
  • Stamp sentiment in Cherry Cobbler onto scrap of White,  Cut out with smallest "banner die" in the Stylish Shapes die.  Also, cut one "banner" from Cherry Cobbler. Split this die cut to fit behind White sentiment, as desired.
  • Add White piece inside, for message.  Decorate, if desired, with strip of DSP.
  • Finish with scattered Red Rhinestone "berries".
