I tweeked a card I had made previously for my gals at Garner. I just LOVE this retiring DSP - Splendid Day. It turns an "ordinary" card into an "extraordinary" one! Plus the added element of a Fun Fold! I think they'll LOVE it! So many occasions that this could be used for!
Measurements: :
- Mint Macaron: 1/2 sheet. 3" square (back circle)
- Splendid Day (N): 3" x 5 1/2"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 3" square (circle)
To Make This Card:
- Score card at 3" from one end. Turn and score at 1 1/4" from the other end. Crease well with bone folder. It should meet!
- Attach DSP to left side. It matches edge to edge.
- Place a piece of scrap paper under the right flap. Now, randomly stamp "leaves" in stamped off Mint Macaron. Remove scrap paper.
- Attach White piece to the inside.
- Cut 2 stitched circles from Stylish Shapes Dies. One from Mint Macaron and one from White.
- Stamp sentiment onto White circle in Mint Macaron.
- Take 13" ribbon and loop behind White circle. Add Mint Macaron circle to the back. Sandwiching the ribbon in between.
- Next, attach HALF of the circle to the right side of the card.
- Finish with scattered Rhinestones. (mine are from the retired Blue Wave Rhinestones)
