I haven't done this technique in a few months, and it's one of my favorites! I saw a version of this adorable gnome and knew that I had to make it! I used the new Country Gingham DSP (LOVE it) and the gnome with the heart from our new Friendly Gnomes (which also coordinates with the Gnomes Dies from the last mini catalog!) So, cute and simple!! We will be doing this in my class this week!!
Measurements: :
- Sweet Sorbet: 1/2 sheet, 1 7/8" x 3 1/8"
- Basic White: 2 pcs @ 4" x 5 1/4" (one for inside), 1 3/4" x 3"
- Country Gingham DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 7/8" x 2 7/8"; 2 pcs @ 7/8" x 4 1/8"
To Make this Card:
- Attach White layer to folded Sweet Sorbet card
- Starting in upper left corner, attach shorter piece of Gingham, then work around the corners alternating short and long DSP pieces.
- Add Sweet Sorbet piece to the center.
- Stamp "gnome" onto White, center piece with Memento Black ink. Add sentiment.
- Color with Blends as shown.
- Add White layer to inside. Stamp sentiment and any other images to inside. Color with Blends, if needed.
- Finish with pink adhesive-backed sequins from the new, Pastel Sequins.
